The Demographics of the Grand Bizarre is similar to that of Port Kolin as a whole, execpt that planer scions are more commonly found here along with a small number of outsiders who've taken up residence and run shops and stalls within the markets.

Defences

For the most part, the defences of the Grand Bizarre hinge upon the fact that everyone who makes a living there needs it to be a functional market where trading can occur; this non-aggression is rooted in a pact that was said to have been drawn up in the early days of Port Kolin, long out of the knowledge of the mortal races that make use of the markets, the outsiders who frequent the market though are very tight-lipped about exactly what this pact was and who it was between, that said they act in accordance with the legends that still persist about it.
For those rare instances when fighting breaks out and it is more than a mere scuffle powerful enforcers each carry with them a device that they can activate, doing so creates a powerful peacebond aura around them, allowing them to round up and eject the troublemakers, should the market itself not dealt with them already.

The Grand Bizarre trades in all manner of mundane and exotic goods; the deeper into the market you travel, the stranger and more esoteric the items you can buy become, not all coming with a cost in gold, beyond the more obvious trading that can occur in a market such as this, there are a number of fighting pits that hold bouts that can be bet upon, when these places are not being used to settle a disagreement between individuals.
There are also several peacebound locations maintained by the high College of Magic that can be hired out by groups whose trust in each other is non-existent, yet they need to meet and talk or trade.
