Orcs
Despite their involvement in The Union of Tarnyk, orcs are not a particularly prevalent kind of anthroest in Ayrath. They were primarily involved in the Union due to their affiliation with Goblins, an alliance that goes back well before recorded history. In fact, it is so long lasting and well known that some consider orcs to be another kind of goblin, even if this is not really the case.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Typically, orcs are large brutes. They usually stand over seven feet tall and are commonly seen with a level of muscle that would make even the greatest of bodybuilders weep. Their skin is typically a dull gray, although sometimes there is a hint of some other kind of color (most commonly green, furthering the link between orcs and goblins). Orcs often have monochromatic eyes, although what that color is does change.
Additional Information
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Orcs are not as widespread in Ayrath as the majority of anthroests are. They're primarily present in the Goblin Nation, although there are some in Excepiterra and Dracosalus as well. There are orcs present in the goblin societies in the wildlands between the Tarnyk Union, the Littlewood Cluster, and Excepiterra, as well as some present in The Under Realm. However, they are already one of the least populus anthroests in Ayrath, so their presence is not widely felt across the lands.
Average Intelligence
Orcs are incredibly dull compared to other anthroests, but it isn't their fault. They have unusually thick skulls, making their brains incredibly small in proportion to their body. Its this lack of knowledge that leads to orcs commonly pairing up with Goblins, creating a sort of "the brains and the brawn" alliance.
Civilization and Culture
Major Organizations
The orcs are primarily affiliated with the Goblin Nation, but they do have a presence in several other major organizations. There are orcs present in Dracosalus and a growing orc population in The Under Realm, and there is a small orc presence in Excepiterra as well. There are also rumors of an orc clan in the Wildlands that is believed to be responsible for the destruction of several villages on the outer edges of established nations. However, these rumors are unconfirmed.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
The orcs have never had their own language, instead being reliant on the now-extinct language of Goblins, and now using the Common Tongue instead.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
In the days before their alliances with the Goblins, long before The Union of Tarnyk, the orcs used to exist in clans. These clans were constnantly in conflict with one another, and each had imagery and symbols that were associated with them. Orcs were once covered in tattoos using red and black ink, each one signifying a battle that the orc was present in, but each orc's first tattoo would be their clan's symbol, although where this tattoo was placed changed. This first tattoo was a symbol of maturity and readiness to be on the field, as well as an announcement of their allegiance. These tattoos became less prevalent as time passed, and the clans disbanded as the alliance between orcs and Goblins came to be. These tattoos are now the least common that they've ever been, but there are still some who wear them to respect their ancestors.

Orcs are one of the strongest kinds of anthroests in Ayrath, being made of almost pure muscle. Orcs have been said to be able to move mountains... literally. It is common for orcs to be recruited for jobs involving intense physical labor like construction places, which remains one of the most common places to encounter orcs.
