Halflings

Halflings are widely considered to be among the simplest of the different kinds of anthroests- and, all things considered, that is fairly accurate. Halflings have had minimal impact on the course of history in Tarnyk, and likely will continue not to. It's not that halflings are irrelevant to the history and whole of Ayrath, simply that they are not nearly as prevelant in that history.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Halflings can be found all across Ayrath and The Surface Realm as, all things considered, they are an incredibly uncontroversial people. While no nation goes seeking out halfings, trying to draw them to their nation, they also show no hostility towards them. Additionally, halflings can easily adapt to many climates, making them well suited for global spread. While they are more centralized around the Littlewood Cluster, they can be found just about anywhere in Tarnyk.

Civilization and Culture

Major Organizations

The halflings aren't really associated with any major organizations other than their percieved homeland of the Littlewood Cluster. They come and go as they please, and while there are often a couple in any sizable organization, they aren't really a prominent member of any.

History

The history of halflings goes way back, as they have existed for as long as the Elves. However, their recorded history only goes back about 20,000 years, like many other anthroests.
