Ayrath

Ayrath is the continent that most of the nations of the known world exist on. The continent is incredibly diverse and has a history spanning back hundreds of thousands of years. The continent was once much larger than it is now, but islands like the Nation of Ruin and Dracosalus Island have broken off the mainland, and there are rumors that there's a whole second continent out there that was once attached to Ayrath.

Localized Phenomena

There are many strange occurences that cannot be explained in Ayrath, even by magic.

One such occurence are the rifts that connect the Ayrath to The Under Realm. Despite significant research having gone into the rifts, nobody has been able to understand how they work or even how they came to exist. People have attempted to create new rifts, destroy the existing ones, or harness the rifts' power for their own personal gain, all to no avail. So, the rifts remain.
