Legatus
Singular: Legatus
Plural: Legati
The Legatus is the overall commander of the Legion. Typically, the position was held by a senator appointed by the President, and it often served as a stepping stone to higher political office. The current is Caesar Scipio, appointed by the previous President and renewed by Nui.
Commanding the entire legion, making strategic decisions, and leading the legion in major campaigns are the main roles of the legatus. It is also responsible for the overall success of military operations and the welfare of the soldiers under their command.
