Trewallis Republic
History
The Republic was long written off as a collection of Firbolgs out in the eastern woods of Kinthrass, because of this it was a huge surprise when in 179 crack teams of changeling agents revealed themselves in critical roles within the southern cities of the Kingdom of Great Kintross and invited in an invading force swiftly sailed across Llior's Gap and took hold of the cities. Since then they have successfully defended their border while regularly attempting to install more agents in the remaining two southern bastions; Faerwatch and Fort Oricut.
Demography and Population
The original population of the Republic was almost entirely Firbolgs and Changelings. The cities that were added in the Overthrow have a population mix of humans, elves, dwarves, and other humanoids; one might assume that they would be keen to defect back to Great Kintross, however the century since the Overthrow has shown that the population is much more content with their free access to goods and foods, as well as votes in the future of the Republic.
Territories
Military
Trewallis doesn't have an official military force, outside of the city guards, which operate on a monthly rotating levy. Unofficially however the second child of the great changeling families are often sent away at their age of majority before ostensibly disappearing to join pirate crews from Vorn.
Technological Level
The lack of heavy industry and mining resources within the Republic limits the technological advancement of the nation.
Religion
Foreign Relations
Trewallis is officially still at war with Great Kintross. In practice however, this consists mostly of the guards on the walls of Brancis, Gerith, and Rigon peppering the regular sallying forth of The Thunder. The southern borders with Omoraki and Djunkoro are much more porous, relations are friendly and small amounts of trade are made.
Laws
The civil code of the Republic is publically available to all citizens and visitors.
Agriculture & Industry
The countryside around Thanva is extremely fertile as is the fishing off the west coast of the Republic, between that and the rich hunting and foraging of The Golden Groves, the Republic is mostly self-sufficient.
Trade & Transport
The majority of international trade is done via shipping from Brancis, Gerith, and Rigon, despite this the Republic does not have its own merchant navy, and tends to sell on goods directly at each port to Free Cities' captains and vessels.

Gazetteer
A nation of two halves, the majority firbolg population prefers to live in the capital or small villages in The Golden Groves, the rest of the population maintains the city strongholds that were taken from Great Kintross. The control of Llior's Gap has allowed imposition of tariffs on imports, that together with the fertile growing land of the nation lets the Republic operate in a self-sufficient nature where basic needs of the populace are provided from the government.
Currency
External trade is generally done in Free Cities Korgiths, within the Republic individuals are issued vouchers known as Rootstocks that are enchanted to provide authorisation for adequate supplies of any items that a family or individual may require from the items managed by the Republic.
Major Exports
What little the Republic exports is mainly excess fishing from the Sivian Sea.
Major Imports
Rare minerals and metals are brought in from Selarr and @An'tiss.
