Blug'ni'ath

Demography and Population

A large number of the population are Bugbears, unsurprising given the location on An'thun. Most Orcs lived on the north bank of the river however and as such any Orcs are regarded with suspicion in the city. The regular influx of pirates has brought with it a small population of Tritons, Genasi, Fairy, Goliaths, and Changelings.

Gazetteer
The city-state of Blug'ni'ath sits on the southern bank of the Nik'marath. Highly fortified across the river from its sister city Marak'thin with which it was once one. Its independance is in many ways due to the strength of the local thieves guild, the Blug, from which the original city district and later city-state took its name. Blug'ni'ath's deep harbour has allowed it to become a haven for many of the pirate fleets that sail the Vrin'ath Sea.
Currency
