Eawindu
History
The fertile sands of the Heresha have supported the Eawindan monarchy in their towering edifices of the Parlin crater. The expansion across the desert to the coast brought ease of trade, but also exposure to outside influences. The loss of first their eastern villages to Aibae in the Sorcerer's Invasion, then the failed marriage and joining of the Eawindan and Feyrinat royal families which led to the eventual fall of Feyrin and the rise of The Eyrion Confederacy.
Demography and Population
The majority of the Eawindan population are Genasi, mostly Earth and Air, with the remainder made up of Goliath and Firbolgs. Eawindu is particularly bereft of practicioners of the mystical arts, the exact reasons for which are still unclear.
Territories
Military
Eawindu's military have been engaged in occasional scuffles with the Ai, however Eawindu's troops are primarily scouts and rangers, rather than real military formations
Foreign Relations
Eawindu and Aibae have an uneasy peace. The Eyrion Confederacy is considered a neutral neighbour since its foundation. Omoraki is a peaceful border due to its early adoption of The Sanctity of the Voice.
Agriculture & Industry
The Heresha supports great hordes of beasts that roam its dunes, providing ample hunting across the nation. The Parlin crater hosts huge agricultural wealth in the caverns below its edges, where all manner of foodstuffs are grown and harvested. The Teeth are also full of mineral wealth, though the inhospitable terrain on their approach makes their mining less profitable than it could be in other circumstances.
Trade & Transport
The underground roads between cities in Eawindu provide safe and reliable travels across the nation, away from the sun and sands.
