Laktun

History

Born from the expansionism of its neighbours, Laktun stands proud against great nations forcing themselves on the smaller. In 662, Second Aeon the Loxodon cities of Castheesis, Lakrima, and Lingwar allied with the Ghostwise tribes of the Deadleaf Woodland and Tulun to push back against Okrun's timber industry and The Exart Republic's colonising of the east coast of the Reinith Sea

Demography and Population

The majority of the Loxodon population lives in the towns in the west. While the halflings still hold their city at Tulun most of the populace still lives in small villages in the forest.

Territories

Military

Laktun fields a famous naval force in the Reinith Sea to protect its trade interests with Kryth. It's Ghostwise population are well-known for their guerilla tactics to defend the forest.

Laktun does not have diplomatic channels to both Okrun and The Exart Republic despite them being its closest neighbours. Violent skirmishes with Okran villages and loggers are common on the northern border of the Deadleaf Woodland. The relationship with Xinsas is friendly and without issue, often attributed to the high number of halflings in the north of that nation. It also has strong connections with Kryth across the Reinith Sea as a major trade partner.

Agriculture & Industry

Eastern Laktun is extremely fertile and grows all manner of produce.

The road from Lakrima to Tulun provides an alternate overland route from the Reinith Sea to the Fissic Ocean that does not flow through Okrun or The Exart Republic
