Osgiliath
Osgiliath is a dwarven city built on a peninsula that juts out into the sea, nestled amongst the rugged peaks of the Osgiliath Mountains. The city is a marvel of dwarven engineering, with intricate tunnels and passages carved into the mountainside.
The dwarves of Osgiliath are a reclusive people, known for their skill in mining and metalworking. They are a proud and independent people, with a deep respect for tradition and a strong sense of clan loyalty. While they are not openly hostile to outsiders, they prefer to remain isolated, interacting with other races only when absolutely necessary.
The city itself is a testament to dwarven ingenuity. Built upon the foundations of an ancient civilization, Osgiliath incorporates the ruins of older structures into its own architecture. Rumors persist of an ancient city and temple dedicated to Fryldrith, the Dragon Goddess of Fire and Wrath, located beneath the city. The current ruling dwarven family has restricted access to these ruins, fueling speculation and whispers of forbidden knowledge and forgotten dangers.
