Nendë Telpingwë

Nendë Telpingwë, or the Silverfish Lake, is a vast expanse of water that lies near the heart of the continent. Connected to Nendëlúlë Lake via a narrow channel, it plays a vital role in the region's ecosystem. The lake receives water from the north, flowing southward towards the ocean, while another river flows northwest from the lake.   The climate around Nendë Telpingwë is temperate, with warm summers and very mild winters. The lake itself is a haven for wildlife. Schools of fish, including the namesake "silverfish" that give the lake its name, dart through the clear waters. The shores are lined with lush vegetation, including reeds, water lilies, and willows. The surrounding forests and plains provide a diverse habitat for a wide range of animals, from deer and elk to birds of prey. On the southeastern shore of the lake lies the magnificent elven city of Númellótë.
