Crafting Items
Crafting and Gathering Table
In Neon Eden, crafting is more than just assembling parts — it’s a way to shape the city to your advantage. Players can gather first-stage components from various sites scattered throughout Night City, then refine them into second-stage materials used to create weapons, armor, cyberware, medical supplies, and more. Your role determines what you can craft, and your rank affects the quality of components you can gather. Whether you’re a Techie enhancing your arsenal, a MedTech brewing life-saving treatments, a Solo outfitting for combat, or a Netrunner upgrading your cyberdeck, the crafting system rewards exploration, preparation, and creativity.
Ranks affect component gathering: T1 Components at Rank 1, T2 Components at Rank 2, and T3 Components at Rank 3.
Go to the site. Each site will have 2 primary supplies to gather. This changes depending on the decoration of the site to hint at what you might gather. Sites are all over the city—lowers, uppers, trash piles, and other locations. Each site gives a hint of what components you can find.
Gather components. All classes and players can shape first stage components into second stage supplies. Second stage supplies are then used to craft items depending on the desired item and the crafting role:
- Techie: Some cyberwares, some armors, some weapons
- MedTech: Drugs, buff items (food/drink), medical items
- Solo: Some armor, some weapons
- Netrunner: Quickhacks, Net-oriented cyberware
