PvP Conduct
// 4.0 PvP Guidelines_
4.1 Declaring PvP
Players entering PvP must provide at least one descriptive emote stating their intent to engage in hostile action when declaring official PvP intent. Every action IC should have meaningful intent behind it, including conflict and aggression.
4.2 Locked Scenes
Once Initiative has been rolled, the combat scene is considered "Locked in Time." Passersby should act as if they did not see the scene. However, if someone happens upon the scene, they have the right to wait until the combat is COMPLETELY over, including all consequences being dealt, and the winner/loser of the combat being granted a sufficient amount of time to depart the scene, before they can interact in character as if just approaching/arriving at the scene.
4.3 Line of Sight
RPR (Roleplay Redux) cannot detect Line of Sight, so players must act in good faith regarding when they can or cannot use abilities on another player. Most abilities in our system require Line of Sight.
Line of Sight is considered when you can view at least half of their Conan Model from a First Person Perspective while both characters are standing still. For example, crouching behind a half wall maintains Line of Sight, but ducking behind a building would deny Line of Sight. Netrunners or others utilizing Quickhacks may chain line of sight through their allies.
The /los command can be used to loosely verify LOS.
