What Lies Beneath
In the shadowy bowels of the Althenan Murmire Mountains lies a prize: the Darklight Treasure of Trinax of the Mountain. Bound by the tiresome edicts of the god Etuna, the party pocketed only a meager portion of the loot for their troubles. But the irresistible sparkle of a diamond led Gok to flirt with catastrophe, nearly obliterating both the party and the treasure chamber as the wrathful deity kept its promises. Only the intervention of Hootalin pacified the enraged god.
Now, that coveted diamond and a chunk of the treasure have plummeted into the abyss of the Darklight Treasure Vault. The question stands: is it truly worth the risk of incurring divine wrath and betraying their dear companion Hootalin, all for the sake of this hoard?

Hootalin's Ascendancy
After the destruction of Zoran Tross’ warship, Hootalin parted ways with the party. With her companions flush with coin, armed with evidence to foil Medacnan's plot, and recognized by the Owlin Council’s elite wardens, the time was right. Confident they could thrive without her, Hootalin returned to Murmire to seize leadership of the Darklight Guardians. As their new Master, her influence on the island is steadily growing... and so is the influence of the god Etuna on Hootalin.
As Etuna had expressly forbidden the party from taking the diamond, any such attempt would surely lead to a rift between Hootalin and the party.
