Elira Medacnan leads the Company of the Marksmen, Bravia’s most well-funded mercenary band and arguably the only one that pretends to have standards. While her peers were busy playing dice and drinking paychecks, Elira was building an army with discipline, equipment, and, worst of all, strategy.

A silver dragonborn with a military mind sharper than her arrowheads, Medacnan rose through the ranks with a terrifying blend of competence and cold-blooded ambition. She didn’t just inherit the Marksmen—she survived the last leader. People still argue whether he was ousted or "unfortunately impaled during training," but no one really asks too many questions when the company starts making record profits.

While the Marksmen specialize in firearms, Elira prefers the bow. She says she enjoys watching the arrow fly, though it’s more likely she enjoys the long, silent moment before someone realizes they’re dead. She's not cruel—she’s just unburdened by the need to pretend she isn't.

Her current ambition involves turning Bravia into a client state under the Kingdom of Aria, with her comfortably seated as its feudal protector. The plan is completely antithetical to the spirit of mercenary independence—so naturally, it’s going well. She's already seized control of Aurorhaven, filled the city with her security bureau enforcers, and is quietly clearing house.

The rest of the Bravian captains either fear her, loathe her, or are already buried.
