Thousand Egged Omelet
A deep running feud between the Peasant Republic's Red Supremacy and Zerkorn seems to have transcended lifetimes. Standing proudly independent for the last two-hundred years, the Peasant Republic is ready to advance their plans. They will fail if Zerkorn has anything to say about it. One or the other will have to yield.
After each possession, Zerkorn is remembering more and more of his previous lives. He recalls that the key to unraveling the mystery of his reincarnations lies in the The Ruin of Hundardach, located in Preiv Staria, right underneath the headquarters of the Red Supremacy.

Zerkorn & The Peasant Republic
Zerkorn's memory of past lives are hazy at best, and when a possession occurs, he momentarily believes he is a different person. But when he gets his senses back—such as they are— he remembers things that were previously deeply burried in his mind, possibly due to the trauma of his usually violent ends.
Preiv Staria used to be a province belonging to the Rustian Princedoms. After a bloody revolution, around 240 years before the start of the campaign, it turned into a Peasant Republic. One of the alledged causes was a persistent curse that the people of the region swore was due to the Princedom's mismanagement. The curse in question were generational bouts of terrorism by Zerkorn, who after every death lived a new life as a randomly posessed child from the region. The result is a stifling air of paranoia, coupled with not so fond childhoods for the Preiv Starian yought, fueling Zerkorn's rage against Preiv Staria even more every time he has to do his schooldays over. It's unclear who started bullying who first.

Veldan's Pendant & The Figure of Hundardach
When Zerkorn relived the experiences of young nobleman Veldan, who lived during the Preiv Starian revolution, he remembered that Veldan was compelled by an otherwordly sense to visit the Ruin of Hundardach, the place where Zerkorn once struck a bargain with a powerful being. But Veldan had something on his person—a magical pendant of unknown origin. He wore it like a shield as he found his way to the black obelisk at the hearth of the ruin. Zerkorn also remembered who he encountered there: a figure stitched together from insect carapace, rotting velvet, and strands of iron-silver hair that floated as though underwater. Its voice was old rot made musical.
The being explained it no longer needed Zerkorn, and he would no longer be reborn. It cast a spell and impaled Veldan. Before he bled out, his pedant vibrated, and he managed to crawl to the Obelisk to store the pendant inside a crack.
While these memories have flowed back to him, many answers elude him. Zerkorn is unsure as to what the pendant was and why Veldan had it, but he is sure that it must be an important piece in his reincarnation puzzle.
