FLASH!

I just manage to notice that the black troopers recloak before the light and sonic wave pummels me. I vaguely hear the clones shouting and I think they might have something under control. As the wave passes, I move my shield back down to evaluate the situation. I first turn to check on Zaye, but while I am turning I hear Vanya asking if I trust her. "Always!" and I hear Zaye say, "Naturally, because I trust my wife and she trusts you." I close my eyes to fight back against the whirling lights and suddenly I can see a HUD in front of me with friend and foe designations - well not colored, but I can somehow tell which are which. Man, do I love Vanya! I can see Noki ahead of us and she is working on opening her wormhole. I quickly check on Zaye who is okay, but comments about how weird life is. I just tell her to wait a year! I yell at Noki to freeze and she does so no wormhole is opened and there is no escape for the guy that was carrying her. I then take aim and shoot him in the leg and manage to take him down, but he reaches for Noki anyway. She kicks him hard! We can hear the armor crack and she scrambles away.
 
Another dark trooper goes for Noki, but Zaye is there and takes him down quickly and easily. A third trooper is running towards Zaye, but Hicks is there and shoots him with a heavy stun blast. Suddenly another trooper is running towards Noki. I contact Hicks and Zaye and we triple team him. I shoot him center mass and cause him to stumble, Zaye slides in and hits him just below the belt and causes him to curl up and then Hicks hits the back of his helmet with two stun blasts. His helmet pops off and he falls to the ground. I turn to observe the rest of the fight and watch Danar participate in a duel and then let that loser walk away. Then I risk opening my eyes to see if my vision is normal and it is getting better, but still has spots. When I close my eyes, the HUD is still available, but only when my eyes are closed. It appears that the battle is over for now and we begin to check for damage and injuries. We then gather ourselves and our loot and get cleaned up and regroup - with a Corellian whiskey or tea.
 
Later that evening, we go back home and have a long conversation. Zaye talks more about her VOID training and the graduation process which she survived. After a while she chose to close the facility she trained at on Navarro - with great attention to detail. She discusses the fact that the facilities (there is more than one!!) would not transmit anything over the holonet and only used couriers. They would sync records a few times a year and that meant that if we went back to Navarro we might be able to discover who trained the group we ran into. An alternative is that maybe we could drop a hint to Davish and he would volunteer the information that the Crimson Knights might have on the facilities and the trainees. We also discuss whether we should take the kids into more danger, but we don't really see an option for a place to leave them and they stay safe. We head to bed with the intention to have the conversation with the group in the morning.
 
**CHIME**
 
The comm goes off in the middle of the night and it is Hicks. He has us all on the group call. They had fired a tracker and have found the dark troopers here on Chalcedon! Recon showed that they have two prisoners: a school teacher named Nova Zaleed and a very drugged Boba Fett.
