Sensor Pings

A giant eye is looking in the viewport at Zaye and me. I check to see if this has ever happened to Zaye before and she says no and suggests that we involve So'Zen as he is good with animals. We turn the problem over to him and he connects with it telepathically. Then he shares the images with us which indicate that Rico is on the station. Further conversation shows that the creature is excited about body surfing on the ion waves. So'Zen shares that we cannot join it as we need to rescue our friend. It offers to assist us to get to the station and when Vanya awakes she questions as to whether the creature is Force sensitive. So'zen agrees this is a good idea and goes into a meditation and surfaces later to share that while the creature is not a force user, it somehow collects the force and while it is sad that we don't want to surf it will be happy to deposit us close to the station.
 
As the next ion wave comes, it grabs us and tucks us safely under it's body and surfs the wave while keeping us safe. It heads directly towards the base and I quidkly ask So'Zen to have it drop us off behind the rocks instead. It does and then glides on towards the base. The sensors pick up an energy spike, but it is too risky to run our own sensor scan to check for what is happening on the base. Danar suggests that we ask the Purrgil to use their senses (or whatever they have) to check out the base. It apparently agrees and swings out and turns to face the base directly, opens its mouth, and all of the ship sensors redline! The sound is more felt in the bones than heard. The result is a full sensor ping of the base with sooooo much data that only a mentat can figure it out. And hopefully compress it so we can fly the shuttle again.
 
Vanya contacts Rico and he relays that everything not a droid has passed out. He is in the prcess of picking the lock to his cell and will then get Jem out of his cell. He is requesting a fast extraction so we go ahead and fly over to one of the landing pads. The one closest to us has a lot of droid activity so we go to the next one over and I ask Vanya to let Rico know where we are and that we are heading his way to support. He says he has Jem out and heading our way, but he has to make one stop on the way. He also mentions that there is something being built that should not be by the active droids. We gather supplies and head out to meet Rico and escort him and Jem back to the shuttle.
 
The corridors are empty and the space feels dead. I follow Vanya's lead and we find Rico who is in full armor and carrying a case. Jem offers thanks and we say we will talk once we are back on the shuttle and we turn and head back towards the shuttle. Vanya stops in the shuttle airlcok and types something into the panel. It stutters a bit, but then starts emergeccy protocols. Once we get back on the shuttle, we discover that Kit Kat isn't here, but when we turn back he is RUNNING towards the shuttle. Vanya says she will be in before flight checks are done and to go ahead and start the process. We get everyone on the shuttle and head out. The Jedi discuss options to make sure that the bomb factory is brought to the attnetion of the authority for some reason. We decide as a group that we are done with this part of the mssion so we head back to drop off the shuttle. Jem is okay with our plans if we can confirm that his husband is okay. I am able to tell him that he was reescued from here about a month ago and was delivered to Chalcedon.
 
I start getting a reading from the base that indicates two TIE Interceptors are flying a search pattern. They follow and scan a minijg shuttle and so I ask Kit Kat to do a serach of Jem and Rico to check for tracking device. Then Rico and Kit Kat are discussing the case. Result is that we are heading quicktly, but casually back to drop off the tourist shuttle. Then Kit Kat and Danar start working with the shield belt to hide Rico and Jem from the sensor scans. Three X-wings then head towards us from the station. I open hailing frequencies and ask for help from the Sector Ranger that is in the lead ship. I mute and have the droids verify that it is possible to have a sector ranger actually to be here as there was not one here an hour ago when we left. I unmute and continue talking with the secotr ranger with the peanut gallery adding in way more than two cents worth. I ask permission to head back and drop of fthe tourist shuttle and he wants to know if he can stop by our home later to discuss things. I give him our shuttle bay location and we all head back to T34.
 
When we return, the kids run out to welcome us and Spook confirms that no criminal activity was detected. Rico asks for a place to hide the case and I send Spook to show him location 34. Just then the sector ranger walks up and asks about my last trip here. I was surprised and I am sure that showed. I did have to tell him that I was in a different ship and had no sensor scans to share. He then asked for me to lead him back down to section 6 as I am the best local guide he has!
