Aunt woes & blockade runners

Vanya and I try to figure out how to alert all three planets and while she could contact clergy, the best method is to call my aunt. I suddenly remember that I haven't told anyone in my family that I am married. I turn to Zaye and we discuss the implications. I tell her there is a high probability we will have to have a second ceremony and that there will be something extra that we will need to do for her. Deliver a message or a package, Drop in on a contact to convince them to follow rules, or some type of intelligence work. Zaye feels that it is very similar to her father and his negotiations and she is quite happy to participate. We go to our quarters and call my aunt. She immediately notices Zaye, but pays attention to me only. I introduce Zaye as my wife and she hides her shock very well, but does ask how long we have been married. A quiet dig about my not staying in touch. Immediately she mentions having a second ceremony on Corellia and I agree - after telling Zaye "I told you so!" - and then I try to steer the conversation to the ships heading to two of three different planets. I as if she knows or has heard of Sargon and that leads to a revelation.
 
She gently reminds me that Sargon's original name which he adopted after changing from Alexander Vorpadoran. Friend of my aunt - and probably more - until he had an accident. He was treated poorly treated by the Vor because he did not enjoy the political games. He didn't fit in and my aunt was showing him a broader universe - among other things. Sole survivor of the death star attack on the tapani military academy. He was out training for an important test and noticed the imprint of the death star approaching. He passed it on to his superiors, but as my aunt wasn't on planet at the time , it didn't get to the right ears in time. He worked very hard to resuce others ans managed to get to an escape pod, but was badly disfigured. My aunt offered to help with skin grafts and a reason to be out of his past. He chose not to tak her up on the offer and just disappeared. Then Sargon appeared and all signs point to it being Alex. While he was in recovery, he met a Bene Gesserit though no clue as to the outcome or import of that meeting. The known result is that he is very angry mostly at the Bene Gesserits due to the conversation they had. Probably tied to the playing around with Vor bloodlines trying to create a super intelligent being they call the Kwisatz Haderach. This would be Thrawn. And my aunt was excited to have a rumor confirmed that Thrawn is working with Sargon. She expresses appreciation to have thet rumor confirmed and then expresses concern that I might be intering with their plans. I remind her of how I stared the conversation and remind her that she did teach me. We discuss the various planets to get her take on how Sargon/Alex would view them. Chalcedon would not be a real target to Sargon, but would be a pawn of great price to Thrawn. Coruscant was loyal to the emperor, but is not a fan of the current Empress. Maybe possibly might be a current stepping stone to something else and might be what Thrawn is doing and Sargon has no objections. Procopia is seat of Tapanci and also the senate and the Bene Gesserit and the Order of Solicitors.
 
She also gives me advice on how to get a mentat on board by suggesting they write a heretical paper. Another ceremony and a honeymoon and request to drop off a message -which arrives just before we leave the room - which is the price I have to pay for the help and information. We talk about what we should share with the others and determine that most of the information we already knew so Zaye and I only tell the others that my aunt will alert Coruscant, she suggests that Danar informs Procopia, and we head to Chalcedon to handle that ourselves. I sit down to try and figure out how much trouble I have involved Zaye in by introducing her to my aunt.
 
We leave Spacer's Tear and head to Chalcedon. We keep sensors open for anything special - or very not special. It is a surprisingly uneventful trip. I land about half a parsec outside the outer moon and fly towards the planet asking the mentats to do a full sensor sweep and chck for anything weird, odd, unusual, or anything that is weirdly not odd. I maintain my position in space to allow them time to work. They call the planet which is not what I was expecting. The conversation goes downhill from there as he mentions the Katana fleet, hidden ships, and explosives. Vanya interjects a firm "Do what he said - NOW!" statement which does seem to get some action from Chalcedon. I ask Zaye if she has any ideas and she suggests a quick trip to medbay and then asking the mentats if the rag smells like cholorform. I laugh heartily and then turn back to my station as the mentats do their ping. I see a ship roll into view. It is covered by the tan glow of the Vor shield belt. It is related to the Aldoran blockade hammerhead style though not an actual one. Space debris is not reacting as I would expect, it is less a bubble shaped shield and more blockish. Then is disappears from view.
