Dance Fight

I see that the others are trying to distract the dark sider by using con and then Vanya jumps in time to deflect force lightning from stopping that con in its tracks. I take advantage of the action to throw myself down on the floor and aim around the frame to hit bad guy number 1. I manage to hit him in the chest with my plasma blaster and at least punch a hole through his armor to his clothing. No major damage, but it did upset him enough to order our immediate demise. Behind me, I hear the missles being activated. I am sincerly hoping that we got them all deactivated, but then Kit Kat mention the secondary explostion potential and Kit Kat and Almon begin whispering. Then I am moved a bit by the mentats and explosions are rolling around the room, but NOTHING hits me. No debris, no explosions. Zaye asks me what happened and I have to say I don't know. We turn to the mentats who tell us "Math!" which leaves us just as confused.
 
The firefight erupts around me and I have a moment of how can I protect my love? Then I check myself. She is a fully capable adult and has been taking care of herself and her children for years and there is no way that I can improve on her abilities. I shake my head as to my stupidity and wonder where this deep feeling is coming from and have to acknowledge how truly deep my heart has become entangled with this beautiful deadly lady. All I can truly do is support her and hope that we can grow together. I turn to check with Zaye and just ask her how I can help her fight and what she needs. She turns to me with one of her beautiful smiles and my heart flutters and falls just a bit farther. She holds out a hand and I toss her a blaster. Then she moves from my left and rolls past my back and urges me to roll past her back and we begin to roll in a deadly dance, firing past the Jedi into the Sith troopers. Our blasts highlight Vanya and truly make her appear as hero of the universe. We maintain fire until suddenly we see Davish behind the Sith troopers.
 
Vanya engages with the dark sider and after several minutes of conversation he attacks and she chops off his head. The sith troopers all turn to run - those that are conscious - and then there is an ionization charge that takes over all of them and they fall down where they are. Maybe dead? Davish goes over to check. He sends Zaye and I over to check on those that had attempted to run. They are all dead and it looks like it was a major ionization blast tied to their armor. I check to see if the death of the dark sider caused the troopers to die. While the suites of armor are tied together, they are not tied to the boss guy. There is an outside source that they seemed to be in contact with that then killed them. I ask Kit Kat to check and see what he can determine based upon the signals that he had been tracking. Result is that he is able to determine that the signal is coming from the ion tubes that we initially used to get down to this base.
 
The Jedi then tells us that we need to get ready so Zaye and I go back to the doorway to go into what stealth mode we can manage. In the meantime, Vanya goes over to one of the sith troopers and removes the helmet. There are marks on the face that almost look like tribal tatoos and it sparks a memory about a cutlure tied to a dead star that I heard while I was at a bar. I discounted it as nonsense because it shouldn't be possible, but then there is this planet with visible layers and the possibilities are open again. I share the info and then Zaye and I get ready for whatever is coming while the others scurry around getting helmets for Hicks to identify. Vanya and Davish start discussing theater and then Sargon appears.
