Clocktaur Virus

Kitari walks out into the hallway to check on the virus influencing the clocktaurs. We can hear him mention Horus who he calls his brother and then all we can hear is lasers firing. We start trying to figure out what to do and Danar decides to work on a fire suppression tactic to distract the clocktaurs. Kit Kat calls in a repair droid, gives it a shield belt, and sends it into the hallway. I get prepared to protect the entrance to keep the enemy out. The droid does a bit of a dance, but as soon as it is inside the hallway, Kitari gets hit and it starts working on trying to repair him. Danar then starts spraying the fire supression foam and it starts to cover the shielding. Then he sprints over to the door across the hall.
 
I roll into the doorway with my personal shield on and aim at the shield with my plasma blaster and I am thrilled that my scope works on this as well as my heavy blasters. I fire and watch the sheild just melt away. One of the clocktaurs speaks in droid and then another one comes around the corner to join the fray. Then Vanya and that other Jedi are in the corridor with us and have joined the fight. I feel the sense of the flow of battle settle on me and KNOW that things are now in control. So'Zen does some tumbling exercises and bounces to the other side of the fight and then there is a blaster bolt heading towards me, but before I can react and hunker down and hope my shield holds, Vanya deflects it.
 
Then there is an explosion down the corridor and all I can see is that Vanya is in danger. I don't think and just react and slide out of the door and I push off from the doorway, slide through Vanya's legs and come up in a crouch with my shield just before the energy hits her. My shield glows brightly as it deflects the cone of energy above and around us - as well as Kitari, the droid, and Vandromas. I take the opportunity to fire back and since the blast had taken out their shields, I was able to burn them down and took both of them out. Sadly, my plasma blaster overheated and I have to holster it and give it a chance to cool off. Guess we have to switch back to our heavy blasters (yes, there are two of them!). Then deep underneath the surface, an earthquake begins - and ends as suddenly. We manage to stay on our feet and then Danar tells us where he found the suit he is in and I run back to get geared up.
 
I find Kit Kat maybe hacking into a suit, but I ignore that and pop into a suit and head back towards Vanya. She strongly encourages all of us to go into the Maintenance door and we enter. As we are about to go through then next door, I ask if we are going to leave the people in the cryo tubes? While that is an excellent point, we have to handle the next emergency first before we can save them. As we continue into a hallway, we hear sounds of heavy machinery and then we are inside. Vanya looks around and then puts Danar in charge of rescuing the people while she and I head to the only other door out of the room. The door is locked and Vanya goes into a meditation while I am suggesting we use a multitool to open it. She tells me that as soon as she opens the door, she will need me to blow up a cryo tube. I just nod.
 
Another earthquake shakes the building.
 
The door opens and I aim for the vulnerable spots and it explodes, covering the clocktaur with freezing gel. Then two more step into the hallway. Vanya opens dialogue and they say they are putting clones into storage. Clones?!?!? I am only paying partial attention to the conversation though I do hear it say that it is on a ship in space. I notice that the clocktaur in the back suddenly has eyes that go RED. I move to the far side of the corridor and focus intensely being ready to fire at a second's notice. It says, "by your command" and I fire. It fires again and Vanya dives forward and does that Jedi thing to send the plasma bolts back at it and takes it out of commission. The clocktaur that Vanya was talking to mentions a virus. She reaches out to Almon d'Joy and I suggest that he does a quarantine which seems to excite him. We go back to the room with hostages and Vanya informs us that the entire planet is a ship and that we need to get on the surface of the ship/planet. We head back to collec tthe cryo tubes and run into an area of mass destruction. None of the cryo tubes are effected fortunately. While Danar, Kit Kat, and So'Zen start getting people to the intact land speeeder, I keep watch. For good guys, bad guys, or helpful salvage.
 
Another earthquake shakes the building.
 
We get outside and have the entire menagerie of items that we are attempting to load onto the vehicles and we realize that we do not have enough space. We are about to reach out to Nighwick city for help when a shadow falls across us and Hondo arrives. He helps us to get everyone and everything back and does not even charge us a fee - at least not after I threaten him with Spook getting in his business. He even pays Vanya back. As we are flying back there is another quake and the entire building disappears under the sand.
