Cthulu does not belong in our universe

So'Zen walks out of our lives for a while. Of course he would just when we need a diplomat! We divide a bit with Vanya and Davish work with the rift and check to see if there is something on the other side that needs to be handled while the rest of the team goes to work on the missles in storage. I can see that the missiles are in fact miniturized hyper drives that almost look like the ones being setup for a starship - they have a control board and all of the components, but not enough power to do a spaceship. It would however totally create the rift we have in the room. I watch the young Twi'lek girl to make sure she is doing it right. Once that is confirmed, I move to the opposite side of the room and quickly begin deactivating the missles. Zaye and I have a quiet conversation about the rift and if she has seen one before. Zaye shakes her head. "No, I didn't know this was even possible. Hyperspace rifts.... they are too dangerous to open in a gravity well to a planet. It could..." Zaye pauses, then looks around as if some idea she never wanted dawns in her mind. "... shatter... a ... planet...?" "Like Spacer's Tears!?!?!" I question and Zaye nods. After the team watches two missile being dismantled, they all join in and begin working - all dxcept Hicks who goes into guard mode to make sure we aren't disturbed while making the galaxy a safer place.
 
We are just finishing up when I hear Vanya from the other room, "Captain Kolene is going to kill me!" Zaye and I exchange a glance. Then she leans over and whispers that all of the chalk marks on the floor look like blast radii so we briskly leave the room. We check in with Vanya and Davish and she tells us about Eztrigan who was on the other side of the rift and is after Zaye. She gives us what she thinks is the sequence of events:
 
Wanted the planet that Zaye was born on - hung around in orbit
Grakkus the Hutt offered the planet to him for a favor
Then gets the favor, but doesn't give him the planet
Seems this was the result of Jedi recoering an artfeact from the planet and ejecting him from realspace (imprisoned him)
He coudd observe for a while and watched Zaye until others are broght to the planet
 
I let vanya know that there is no reason to shoot her as we are all family and I expect them to be involved until we provide a permanent solution to Grakkus. She is relieved, but then I overhear the Mentats mention an oopsie situation. I tell Zaye to stay with Vanya while I march in to assist the Mentats in whatever they are attempting now. They are trying to close the rift, but they are talking about doing a bomb to close it instead of just reversing the polarity of the hyper drives to create the interdictor unit. We talk and I suggest that we need to only use two of the missles that have been taken apart. One to reverse the rift effect and a second one to counter the mass of those that were pulled through when the rift was originally created. Almon and I work on cobbleing the two missles together and setting a timer while Kit Kat verifies the atmosphere on the other side of the force field and fixes it so that we can slowly push the missles in without letting anything from the other side of the force field. After ew get the device pushed through, Kit Kat firms up the force field and we all move back to the door.
 
The timer reaches its mark and there is a blast, the rift closes, there is a gravity shift, and the area behind the force field is full of mist. We are about to congratulate ourselves when suddenty the entire building drops almost a foot. Vanya tells Kit Kat to pull a Yeager and everyone is told to remove their buckets/earpieces for a while. Then he says success and we can put them back on/in. Not sure what that is all about, but anyway it is time for Zaye and I to go downstairs to the factory and make sure that all of those are also disabled. Then we hear the base proximity alarm. I glance over a Vanya and she sets up at the door while Zaye and I go to the opposite side and get behind my shield. Then Danar walks out of the room with a missile threatening to set it off which brings everything to a standstill. Then Noki gets Zaye's attention and then we find out that Danar actually has a live missile. No one had disassembled it yet before he grabbed it. The team talks over various plans to let him know he has a live one, but Vanya and Kit Kat think he shouldn't be bothered. I feel that he does need to know so Davish and I both convince Noki to open a very small one beside Danar's ear so I can let him know. I do so.
