I duck back from the corner after getting an idea of the layout of the room and those in it. I leave the tentacle droid to keep an eye on things and call the rest of the group - minus the Jedi - up to where I am. We duck into one of the bedrooms and close to door so we can plan. I share my half-cocked plan to use the tentacle droid to keep watch while Kit Kat and Kitari push the fix for the curse to the others so that they will either become part of our side or at least neutral. I am requesting feedback or additions when Kit Kat interupts me to say that there is an individual in the hall who appears to be doing a holographic transmission. We all listen in as Horus talks to Sargon of all people. Seems Horus was sent here to convince Vahzilok to use the ship to destroy Chalcedon., but making sure that Danar isn't killed. Horus gets a bit upset when Sargon says he is on the way and will take over the operation.
 
Kit Kat chooses to send that transmission to the Jedi and we continue to work on finetuning our plans. Then we get a transmission from So'Zen that tells us there is an update needed to make the fix for the coruption permanent and that two members of the crew are on the way to assist in taking back control of the ship. Danar, Zaye, and I head out to take on Horus while we let the other focus on sending the antivirus. Danar walks up to Horus and punches him hard and then Zaye and I slip around behind him while he is dazed and drag him into the room so that we can subdue him without the rest of the room getting involved. I am still hoping that we can make the thirteen merzani will switch to our side and help us to take back control of the ship.
 
We smash some consoles and rip out the wires and then we slam him into a chair and tie him down to give the other members of our group time to get that antivirus implemented. While Danar talks to Horus, I lean over and whisper to Zaye, "nice work with the cords." She grins , blushes and gives you a wink. "Thank you, honey." Then cracks her knuckles with a dark look at Horus. Once Danar finishes giving Horus something to think about, Zaye and I ensure that he has plenty of time to think by knocking him out. We then leave the room to check on the others. We see Kitkat enter the room and follow. He is heading for a navigation console, but Zaye and I are distracted by the front of the room that has a complete hologram of the space surrounding the planet. It almost looks like the pilot would be pushing the ship to where he wants it to go. Then Kit Kat pulls out a slingshot and inserts the crystal in the console and the ship powers down. I think that means we have won this round.
 
Vanya contacts me over comms to tell me they are on the way. I give her a brief update about Horus, the antivirus temporary fix, the ship powered down, and now we just have Vahzilok to complete the challenge for this level. She mentions that she might have some crewmen for me and that they are on the way. I turn to see Kit Kat going up to Vahzilok and start talking and it actually works. Vahzilok stands down. Vanya enters with So'Zen and a bodyguard wall. We discuss next steps and how to handle this for the current citizens. We decide that we should go back to Nightwick City and discuss this with all of the interested parties in the same room. Good news is they all seem to want to work togeher. Bad news - the Katana fleet is still on the way.
 
The captain starts talking about how the planet can apparently do a shield. Who knew? They begin talking about their descendants and then the merzani show a photo of what they looked like originally and it is the AVIAN species that we hypothosized from the first ruins that we investigated. Further discussion leads to them being interested in joining the Alliance of Worlds and we are invited to rest and relax while our ships complete repairs. Then we are free to leave and they will distract the Katana fleet and then send them on a wild goose chase. We can head to Chalcedon and handle the next phase of this adventure.
