Catching a Falling Knife - Part 2.0
So, Flash, Bang, then everything went dark and quiet a moment.
Then there was a blast wave from a nearby building which appeared to energize all the Inviso-troopers' armor and cloaking devices?
The buzz of a billion and a half bees filled my ears.
I smell ozone and melted plastic. It's coming from my shield belt.
I threw it directly up into the air.
It detonated like a small atomic.
Danar Vorpadaran threw his shield belt at the space where he saw two Inviso-troopers. They screamed in pain.
Vanya asked if I trust her.
She gave me a better Heads-Up-Display of our friends and enemies than the Clones ever did when I was training with them. All of us were able to aim our weapons and attacks at the invisible troopers as if we could see them clearly.
I used my acting skill to deduce that the supposedly injured local man at the cantina was actually giving orders through a comm units hidden in his palm. I used my newly learned power to tell him, through the Math, deep in his soul, "Nothing is working!"
He believed me. It was technically true, wasn't it? We were not acting like stunned, blinded people. They were depending on the flash bang grenades to incapacitate us. (Thanks to Vanya's gifts,) It didn't work, any of their battle plans.
My plan did work.
Only one of them failed to retreat. One had engaged Danar Vorpadaran in a Vor saber duel. Those pop up at the worst possible times, don't they? Danar won against Gareth Vormassety, his potential Brother-In-Law. He disarmed his opponent, took his weapon as a trophy, and let him go unmolested.
Classy.
As our vision slowly cleared and the Vor stomped away angrily, we took control of the area .
It was a whole squad of black troopers, Inviso-troopers. We took prisoners, and the Clone Troopers tied them up and restrained them. Doc and Almon brough the conscious sniper down from his rooftop perch with something frilly stuffed in his mouth which I decided not to inspect any further. I discussed freely in front of them while learning from their armor, that I detected a rift between Sargon Xan Duran and Admiral Thrawn. They had differing opinions on the value of the lives of their employees and subordinates, particularly if they failed a mission. Also, they had differing opinions on the Bene Gesserit, so we might need to call them in for any attempt to split them up for good.
They seemed to take in this military intelligence more like a spy agency than a military organization, none of them seemed particularly surprised, nor emotional about the information.
I believe they are sent by neither Sargon nor Thrawn, but by an information gathering agency, probably as Zaye said, descended from The (now defunct) Void.
Our soldiers noted that these Inviso-Troopers had armor with Muscle augmentation, sealed systems, cloaking, proof against vacuum even, each person in squad is almost like a hivemind constantly recording and updating. !Like when you don't have time to train.! Each is like an individual tank.
Davish thought they must have been a team from Galactic Imperial Intelligence or Correllian Imperial Intelligence, probably the 107th counterintelligence.
I started to analyze possible fates of Lt. Jessup, then thought about Noki. Perhaps these opponents have stolen Danar's cloaked shield technology, and perhaps they want Noki for her space warping capability, hoping to add that capability to their ships and armored suits.
I analyzed to try to find any cloaked hyperspace jumps.
Noki learned "StarBending" in the Mechis Imperial Library. She put the book back when she had learned. A lady clone trooper who called the Caminoan, "Mom" and was displeased with Noki. Stuff happened. Bloodsmith Raiders and Silar Mins altered the young Mechis' Emperor's DNA changing him into a shark person. Noki helped in an adventure helping him, so he is no longer a shark person. Now she works for him in his security. She also said an infrequent advisor was Baron Vorharkonnen, so that happened. She was amenable to my desire to study her special ability. I mentioned that our opponents were likely attacking us to get her special travel talent attached into their armor and ships.
Suddenly our comm links went off, all at once. It was Hicks. He had put a tracker in the skivvies of one of the blacktroopers. He has telemetry saying they went to the old tills pirate base (ruins) in the mountains near us on Chalcedon. A quick recon showed they are not ready to leave due to engine troubles. Sand.
Rescue mission to get a couple of captives: a school teacher replicant nove zeliide, and Boba Fett heavily drugged.

Kip's droid, WAD-1, (pronounced "Waddy"), is a Wearable Assistant Droid, in the shape of a cowboy hat. It has all droid functions except no manipulators and no mobility.
WAD-1 units are programmed to bond to one owner; they must be memory-wiped in order to sell them to a new owner, which made them more of a hassle to use than other droids.
Waddy can speak to his wearer using external speakers or internal bone conduction. He can communicate wirelessly with many many protocols which gives him nearly infinite expandability, or so the Droidmongers advertised. He is conversant in over six million forms of communication, a fact which he announces often.
Kipo has purchased the following units which are completely controlled by Waddy: Quadriphonic Stereo Drones (4 total). These small flying balls perfectly produce big sound from a small package by deadening unwanted sounds and amplifying music. They typically orbit a performer and adjust for acoustic properties of the venue. At Waddy's request, Kipo ordered the Stereo Drones with a laser light show, theatrical smoke dispenser, and a single hardened and sharpened spike-shaped data port which can be rammed into a target like a nail-gun. Ouch. Don't mess with Waddy. Without Waddy, the drones can only perform the most basic spoken commands. For a short time, the droids can lift Kipo's weight which might get him to a rooftop or save him from a fall some day.
Waddy has sensor upgrades which allow him to see (telephoto, micro, UV, IR) front and rear. His hearing includes more frequencies than humans', and he has excellent ability to isolate a particular sound from a loud environment and play it back.
Waddy also reads all sound output and diagnostic information from Kipo's guitar and can apply various sound effects. In a pinch, Waddy can activate the Blaster and Flame Thrower, but he cannot aim either, of course.
Waddy usually routes data through one of his Stereo Drones, leading unsuspicious droids to believe that Waddy's "brain" is in one of the drones rather than Kipo's hat.
