Xexiala

History

Xexiala is one of the older settlements in Uaelor, possibly the oldest, forming right when the first slimes left Aecotia. The city began as a small trading town where slimes from Aecotia and Uaelor all met to trade resources or information, thanks to its generally centralised location between the two continents.

Thanks to all of this commotion and interaction, the town took off and began finding its feet. After workers in a small mine discovered large veins of precious minerals just north of Xexiala, which they used as a bartering tool to earn themselves more resources to expand their reign. In the Modern Era Xexiala finally classified itself as a city. With technology advancing, the city saw an evolution as well, especially when helis was discovered. The city's officials decided to be the first to test the boundaries of this new gas material with a lower density than Osaoan air.

The first big test of this gas was to fill a giant slime balloon with it, and see how it fared. The test was a huge success, and the city's council thought it would be smart to try and lift an entire three-story building with a balloon. This too was a success, and so began plans to lift the entire city into the sky. this plan was absurd, yet the inhabitants of Xexiala were excited. Plans went through, construction began, and in 394 DMS the city took to the sky. There were no issues or faults, and so once engineers were confident they announced it a success.

Osao is a rocky planet in the Kurhira System, one of eleven. It is characterised by an entirely tropical climate, with average temperatures (Celsius) in the forties, year round.   Five continents make up the majority of dry land on Osao. These five continents are home to perplexing lifeforms, intriguing peoples, and gorgeous sceneries.
