The Pestilence Uruta Kauma
Uruta, twin brother of Kaha, was the eldest of the Seven and second in power only to Kaha. Grotesque in appearance and solitary by nature, he was despised by other children, but always protected by Kaha, who loved him more than anyone else.
It is said that one day Kaha was bitten by a venomous serpent, and Uruta, to save him, cursed the snake and transformed it into an Tapu, which he offered as a gift to his brother.
His Tapu was a vessel of poisons and diseases—mere contact with it could cause instant death. Even Kaha feared its power, yet the bond between the two brothers was so strong that neither could ever dominate the other, nor would either ever raise arms against his sibling.
