Faery Kauma
The Fairy Girl Faery Kauma
The third-born of the Kaumatua, Faery was the only sister. As such, she was protected and cherished by her six brothers, who would have done anything to defend her. She was a cheerful and courageous young woman—strict with her brothers, yet loving and kind.
When the younger siblings were born, she cared for them and became, in their eyes, a second mother.
Her Tapu was Ahoeitu, the god and protector of trees, who offered her his service after falling in love with her and her devotion to nature. Wherever she passed, flowers bloomed, fruits ripened, and flora grew lush and abundant, bringing prosperity to every land. With a single breath, she could revive a dying plant, and it was said that she could guide and command the tribe of trees, her children.
