The Dragonslayer Taratoa Kauma
Taratoa, twin brother of Paki even though he was born prematurely, was the youngest of the Seven. He was not originally a Summoner but a dragonslayer—said to strike terror into the dragon race with his very name.
He lived freely, wandering and adventuring without care.
He became a Summoner when, during one of his hunts, he came face to face with the king of dragons. After a long and fierce battle, he defeated the monarch, who, impressed by his strength, chose to become his Tapu.
From that day on, Taratoa slew no more dragons; instead, he learned to communicate with them and command their kin.
Kaha believed that one day Toa would become the greatest Summoner of all—surpassing even him and Uruta—and would bring lasting peace not only to Whenua, but to the entire world.
