Tremere

House Tremere, Usurpers, Warlocks, Blood Mages, The Broken Clan.

The Tremere clan is one of the fourteen vampiric clans. This clan of arcane occulists were once a mortal house of mages whom sought the secrets of immortality. Even going as far as to steal vampirism, their leader Tremere diablerizing another clan's Antediluvian. Earning them the moniker: "the Usurpers".

In modern nights the Warlocks has fractured. After the Tremere Pyramid's leadership in Vienna was slaughtered by the Second Inquisition, the clan has split into four distinct houses, and several more minor factions: the conservative House Tremere, also known as the Tremere Pyramid, still holding unto the clan's old hierarchy; House Carna, an independent house who follows a more equal witch-in-the-woods occultism and closely tied with the Bahari; the Anarch House Ipsissimus; and the Sabbat aligned House Goratrix.

Auspex

Ever studying the magical truth that defines reality. Warlocks use Auspex to pierce the veil to see ley lines, spells, magical runes and see the supernatural reality that hides itself from mortal eyes.

Blood Sorcery

Reffered to as Thaumaturgy by the Usurpers. Blood Sorcery is why the Tremere are equally feared and respected. Able to manipulate the blood to miracelous effect.
Few who unlocks the secrets of Blood Sorcery are satisfied with its base abilities. Delving deeper with Blood Sorcery Rituals. Entire libraries can be filled with the many Tremere rituals and their versatile effects. Not to speak of other clans' sorcerous secret the Tremere totally do not steal.

Dominate

Though the Warlocks are called Usurpers for how they stole vampirism. It is also apt to call them Usurpers for how they steal another's will and mind. Dominating others to do their bidding, forcing them to reveal their secrets to be added to the clan's knowledge, or erase their memories so the clan's secrets remain protected.

Bane

Deficiant Blood

Before the fall of Vienna, they were defined by their rigid hierarchy of Blood Bonds within the Pyramid. After the fall, their Blood weakened and rejected all prior connections. Tremere are unable to Blood Bond other Kindred, though they can still be Bound by other clans. Tremere can still Blood Bond mortals to do their bidding, but the vitae must drink an additional amount of times equal to their Bane Severity.

Compulsion

Perfectionism

Nothing but the best will satisfy them, anything less than exceptional still instills a profound sense of failure. When afflicted by this, the Warlock suffers a two-dice penalty to all dice pools. The penalty is reduced to one die when actions are being repeated and removed entirely on a second repeat. This does not end till they managed to score a critical win on a Skill roll or the scene ends.
