The Ministry

The Clan of Faith, The Clan of Lies, Liberators, Serpents, The Followers of Set.

The Ministry is one of the fourteen vampiric clans. Once they were all the Followers of Set. A cult whom believed themselves to be descendants of the egyptian god Set. In modern nights they have gone through a massive rebranding campaign. Now going by The Ministry. They are a often cult-like clan of tempters. Offering vices and breaking of social norm and personal morals as a means of achieving personal liberty. Unhindered and unshackled.
They are also known for their vast libraries and vault filled with relics. Often going on nightly hunts for ancient documents and artifacts, creating vast collections of lore and history. Of natural and supernatural origin alike.

Most are associated with the Anarchs, though many whom remain loyal to the Followers of Set tend to be independent of any larger sect.

Culture

Embrace

The Ministers are drawn to those who know their way around human desires and lies. Those who understand corruption, who can erode another's beliefs to "reveal the truth they blind themselves to." Criminals, con-artists, cult leaders and self-help gurus are all common amongst the Serpents' ranks.
However, the Ministry does not seek to corrupt their potential childer, instead looking for those who already have a grasp on how to do so onto others.

Bane

Abhors the Light

When a Minister is exposed to direct illumination, be it naturally caused or artificial, they receive a penalty equal to their Bane Severity to all dice pools whilst subjected to the light. They also add their Bane Severity to Aggravated damage taken from sunlight.

Compulsion

Transgression

The Minister suffers a burning desire to influence those around them to shatter the chains of their own making. They suffer a two-dice penalty to all dice pools that do not relate to enticing someone or themselves to break a Chronicle or personal Conviction. The Compulsion ends once the Minister causes someone, or themselves, at least one stain.
