Thin-Blood
The Thin-blooded, Mercurians, The Young Ones, Duskborn.
The Thin-blooded are the Kindreds' destiny. For each generation after Caine the blood thins and dilutes. The Duskborn's vitae so lacking in potency that they stand at the edge between worlds. Neither entirely a vampire or a mortal.
In 2009 the Inner Circle of the Camarilla issued an edict that all Thin-bloods must be branded. A task accomplished by a Tremere tattoo artist or even scorched into their skin using the sun. Even Anarchs and Autarkis will think twice before mingling with a branded thin-blood.
The Thin-blooded typically join with the Anarchs, whom do not judge their exceptionally generation and thin vitae. Many are also sectless. Independent vampires unaware of the larger vampire society; they are not Autarkis as that title requires a level of awareness and rejection of the other sects.
A few Thin-bloods' vitae is strong enough that they do possess a single vampiric discipline. This is possible by the character taking the Discipline Affinity Thin-Blood Merit.
Thin-Blood Alchemy is equally valuable and feared by the Mercurians' rivals and oppressors. As it is able to make such effects as make living smoke that obeys their command and obscures and chokes whomever they sic it on, give them telekinesis, telepathy or the ability to levitate, create molotovs with their own vitae that burst in unextinguishable fire, create bubbles that stop time inside them; or outright copy vampiric disciplines. Many infamous Thin-bloods have disguised them activating abilities such as Blink as them taking one last drag of a cigarette before their execution.
A Thin-blood player character can start with one dot in Thin-Blood Alchemy and one Formulae by taking the Thin-Blood Alchemist Thin-Blood Merit.

Embrace
When a thin-blood is Embraced, they are usually staked and left for the sun. It typically comes as a result as a vampire Embraces someone in the heat of the moment; having drunk a mortal til death and giving them their Blood in an attempt to save their lives, or a lover desperate to keep their partner "alive" for eternity. Or due to the sire being unaware of their generation, a 13th generation Kindred Embracing a mortal expecting a full-blooded vampire like themselves.Mortal Society

Thin-Blood Alchemy
The ace up the Duskborns' sleeves. Due to their mercurial nature, between being an immortal vampire and mortal human. Their vitae is especially versatile and maliable. There is no standardized method of Alchemy. Every Alchemist has their own methodoligym, list of ingredients and end result they are looking for. Many Thin-blood Alchemists share their findings on secure chat sites, or via word-of-mouth. Formulae that others can follow and learn, even adapt into their own methods.Thin-Blood Alchemy is equally valuable and feared by the Mercurians' rivals and oppressors.
