Nosferatu

Clan of the Hidden, Horrors, Lepers, Sewer Rats.

The Nosferatu clan is one of the fourteen vampiric clans. The Nosferatu wear their curse on the outside. Their bodies horribly twisted and deformed through the Embrace. They lurk on the fringes and underground of most cities. Acting as spies and information brokers. Using animals and their own supernatural ability to hide, nothing escapes the eyes and ears of the so-called Sewer Rats.
They are infamous for being the primary architects of the now dismantled SchreckNET. A series of darkweb forums and digital archives used for communication between Kindred. The Nosferatu had special access and priviliges. Until the CIA infiltrated and datamined these forums and archives, feeding perhaps the largest database-collection on vampires to the Second Inquisition in current date.

The Nosferatu's unique combination of loyalty to the clan and being shunned from "refined" vampire society. They are equally as represented amongst all sects. As they offer their allegience to those whom will treat them with at least baseline respect. Though they are officially considered a Camarilla clan.

Embrace

The Nosferatu are amongst the clans with members from the most diverse amount of backgrounds. As they mainly Embrace individuals who are either useful to the clan - which in modern nights typically are tech-savvy individuals whom specialize in cyber security and information networks; or people the sire believes needs to be taught a lesson. Many an asshole or pretentious supermodel have been on the unfortunate end of a Nosferatu Revenge Embrace.

Clan Disciplines

Animalism

An all-purpose discipline for the Sewer Rats. It can be used to create a spy-network of small animals, sic hordes of beasts upon their enemies, or summon however many animals they need to feed upon to be (relatively) satisfied.

Obfuscate

The discipline the clan is most known for. Rumour has it that because of the nearly universal mastery of this discipline amongst the clan, there is supposidly an unseen Nosferatu in every room you enter.

Potence

Useful for hit-and-runs to quickly dispatch their foes, or for great leaps to get to hard-to-reach places.

Bane

Repulsiveness

Cursed by their blood, when they are Embraced they are twisted into revolting monsters. They can never raise their rating in the Looks merits and instead must take the (••) Repulsive flaw. Any attempt to disguise themselves incurs a penalty equal to the character's Bane Severity, this also includes the use of Disciplines such as Mask of a Thousand Faces. However, most Nosferatu do not breach the Masquerade by being seen, they are instead perceived as gross or terrifying.

Compulsion

Cryptophilia

Consumed by a hunger for secrets, the Nosferatu seeks to obtain knowledge no matter how big or small as long as it's not a well-known bit of information. During this, they also refuse to give up their secrets except in strict trade for something greater than their own. Any action not actively working towards gaining them a secret they take a two-dice penalty. This Compulsion does not end till they learn a secret they deem to be useful, sharing this secret is entirely optional.
