Salubri
Cyclopses, Soul Thieves, Saulot's Progeny.
The Salubri are one of the fourteen vampiric Clans. A mythical rarity in modern nights. They are hunted and shunned by their own kind. After the Usurpers of clan Tremere spread vile rumours. Spearheading a genocidal campaign until the clan was though to have been extinct. As they hunted down the clan's Antediluvian Saulot, to diablirize them and turn the Tremere into a proper vampiric clan.
Saulot's Progeny, those that remain or Embraced by the survivors of that aweful clan-wide Bloodhunt, are sworn healers and followers of Saulot's teachings. Their Antediluvian a fervent student and teacher of Golconda.
Most Salubri are Autarkis in modern nights. As there are so few of them, they are only considered a clan as they were never officially demoted. Presumed extinct by those that hunted them. Those that are proper members of a sect are so either disguised as another clan (the Tremere still keeping a watchful eyes of any surviving Salubri), or due to a loyalty to its members or a specific coterie.
If rumours are to be believed: there are only seven Salubri active in modern nights at a time. Possibly only seven exist in total.
Prospective sires are also wary to Embrace in the first place. As the burden of being hunted by the rest of vampire society is not one easily put on another; not to mention creating another may put a target on said sire's back.
Additionally, each Salubri has a third eye, and while it's not always human-like, it's always present and cannot be obscured by supernatural powers. In addition to this, whenever they activate a Discipline, the eye weeps vitae, with its intensity correlating to the level of the Discipline used (droplets swelling in the corners at level 1, clearly crying when using level 3 powers, to torrents of vitae when using a level 5 power). The Blood flowing from the eye can trigger a Hunger Frenzy test from nearby vampires with Hunger 4 or more.

Embrace
Due to their small number there is no real commonality amongst their Embraces. Though those of Saulot's Progeny that adhere their Antediluvian's ways typically look for healers, and criminals looking for redemption. Excellent candidates to continue the clan's old search for Golconda. Any individual whom catches a Salubri's attention may be a candidate for the Embrace.Prospective sires are also wary to Embrace in the first place. ...Clan Disciplines
Auspex
Used by the Salubri to see hidden truths as well as heal another's minds and mental afflictions.Dominate
Rarely used to dominate the minds of others. The Soul Thieves typically employ this discipline to erase painful memories. Locking away the past that keeps hurting them in the present.Fortitude
A boon to all Salubri. So they may both heal the bodies of others, and sustain any harm as they suffer witch-hunts by mortal hunters and their fellow Kindred alike.Unique Powers
- Panacea (Level 2 Auspex amalgam, requires 1 dot in Fortitude)
- Unburdening the Beastial Soul (Level 5 Auspex amalgam, requires 3 dots in Dominate)
- Valeren (Level 3 Fortitude amalgam, requires 1 dot in Auspex)
Bane
Hunted
Their vitae has a unique trait where, when another clan partakes in their Blood, they find it difficult to pull away. Once a non-Salubri has consumed at least one Hunger level worth, they must make a Hunger Frenzy test at difficulty 2 + the Salubri's Bane Severity (3 + the Salubri's Bane Severity for Banu Haqim). If they fail, they will continue to consume the Salubri until pried off.Additionally, each Salubri has a third eye, and while it's not always human-like, it's always present and cannot be obscured by supernatural powers.
