Arheim

The greater region that comprises the Hazran, Zetian, and Cirric governments. It is bigger than the other regions in Smiltis due to it existing independently of the world at large, and it rests to the western edge of the old Smiltis atlas. The area was watched over by the gods of mist, storms, mountain peaks, and forgotten things, which gives it a unique look to other regions as it has many geographical features that do not exist anywhere else. Its people are hardy, and worship the land they live on, and are deeply respectful of their gods. Magic often comes in the form of druidism and mysticism, and rarely was it treated as a non-divine act until the rest of Smiltis was discovered and the cultures began to intertwine.

Geography

The regions landscape varies widely depending on where you are. To the west is the Zetian Mountain Range, named after the kingdom of Zetia. It features large craggy cliffs contrasted by rolling green hills and rivers. The north and east are jungles that change into savanna shifting into desert as the power of the Arheim pantheon fades, and the to the south is the massive Vakao Forest, which is so thick that it is said that it goes on endlessly. The center of the region is dominated by the dangerous Arheim Sea, which allows speedy transport to many cities around Arheim.

Fauna & Flora

Arheim hosts a rich collection of all types of flora and fauna.

Natural Resources

All major resource types are scattered around the region, with each kingdom specializing in producing/acquiring a specific type.
