Cordea
Golden Republic of Central Aeseria
Cordea is the largest nation in Aesersia and is home of the powerful alliance of nations known as the Union. Former heartland of the Dorian Empire, known then as the Golden Province of Cordoria. Residents are known either as Cordeans, Cordians, or the Kore. The native terrans were known as the Kjor and their lands were known as Kjorlend. Even today, Cordea is referred to by some rural terrans as Koreike or Correich.

Cordea is divided into six states, based on the former duchies of Cordoria.
Dolchea
Formerly Dolchipia, the Duchy of the Dolche. Also known as Dolchreis, from the ancient Dolchekreizs. Home of the Dolche people. This is the northernmost region of Cordea, bordering Nethestrain. Dolchea doubled in size during the Long War, absorbing much of eastern Prothinoria.Schusea
Formerly Succhipia, the Duchy of the Schuce. Also known as Schucreis, from the ancient Schuchekreizs. Home of the Shuce people. Schusea is the easternmost region of Cordea, bordering Lelithestrain. Several of the coastal territories of Schusea were lost to Lelithestrain during the Long War.Deulcea
Formerly Deuliquipia, the Duchy of the Deutliche. Also known as Deutlicreis, itself based on the ancient Deutlichekreizs. Home of the Deutliche people. Cordea's coastal region, south of Schusea and bordering Suliese.Susbea
Formerly Susbepia, the Duchy of the Suebe. Also known as Suebecreis, based on the ancient Suebekreizs. Home of the Suebe people. Susbea borders Thanese and covers much of southern and southwest Cordea, however the westernmost territories were lost to the zealous Thanes.Rechea
Formerly Recepia, the Duchy of the Recke. Also known as Rechecreis, from the ancient word Reckekreizs. Home of the Reche people. The northwestern region of Cordea with the Roslaine river crowning the territory. It is imfamous for bordering Arcesia and shattered Protesend.Austea
Formerly Ausaltepia, the Duchy of the Aushalte. Also known as Austecreis, although it was once known as Aushaltekreizs in ancient times. Home of the Aushalt people. This is the central region of Cordea, a fertile territory surrounding the Aemasedis and Reignhold.
