Mochi's SC25 Reading Challenge
Summer Camp this year has now closed, and what a time it has been! This is the first time I've ever written all 40 prompts, and while it was fun, I don't think I'll do it again. I sped through eight articles in the last day, and naturally the quality of those are... questionable.
But August isn't about me, it's about the community! The best part of these big events is getting to do a deep dive into every incredible thing people have made. If you don't read other people's work, it's a really fun exercise that helps you write better yourself. You never know what gems you'll uncover, and believe me, there are some outstanding worlds out there.
Also, a quick reminder that the shortlist for my Summer Camp prompt, "A species that undergoes a metamorphosis", has been published!
Su-mehr Qiamp
Su-mehr Qiamp is a world created by Rin Garnett, as a Summer Camp exclusive project. It showcases how to utilise freeman features as best as you can, and it does a phenomenal job.
This world won my heart in Summer Camp. I hadn't much time nor energy for reading during July, but I made time for this world. There is so much intense emotion in this world, I cried several times reading some of these articles. The love Rin has for crafting stories is undeniable.
I don't know what it is about this world, but I feel like... a new person after having read it? I truly don't know, it's just amazing. I wish to be able to weave stories throughout my own world like Rin seems to do so effortlessly. That being said, I know how hard Rin works on their worldbuilding, and it really shows.
Notable Articles
Elaqitan
Elaqitan is such a gorgeous world and deserves all the recognition in the universe. A lot of what makes an article and a world for me is the way it is styled. This is where Elaqitan shines for me, Blue Fairy 74 does an amazing job designing and formatting each article. I've highlighted entries with Blue's own art as well, as that deserves recognition.
Naturally, my favourite Summer Camp entry from Blue are the flower turtles. The quote in the beginning is what sold me. Blue has combined softshell turtles, my favourite turtles, and corals into one magnificent creature with a delightful method of feeding. If you haven't checked out Elaqitan yet, I encourage you to do so.

Culinary Delights
I really enjoy this article. In Solaris, Neptune is an ocean planet, and tackling how people eat in an ocean planet can be tricky. A lot of thought went into every aspect of this article, and I love the result.
I need to get me a man that can do some Qualic Cooking. I don't care that he will eventually solidify and turn into a statue, I need this food. This is such a cool concept.
I've always wanted to try cactus. The Lava Juice meal is most intriguing, I love its concept! I'm also desperate to learn more about otterlings.
Pretty Places
Describing this location as it is in all four seasons is really interesting, and I've never considered doing that before! I just really love the way this article is formatted, it is so pretty and I love the lanterns everywhere.
Kind of depressing, imagining a junk yard spanning an entire countryside, mountains of trash. But this as a concept will always intrigue me and I always enjoy it, and the cherry on top of the Junk Yard are the terrifying chickens running around.

Almighty Readings
Myth Cross really went above and beyond with his entry to the Reading Challenge. I'm pretty sure there's more than a hundred entries in here, and every last entry has a paragraph all about it. Insane work, go give it some love!
Blue Fairy 74 also featured a lot of articles, as well as highlighting a handful of worlds! I'm so flattered that the Yonderverse is one of those worlds, it really means the world to me that people are still enjoying what I write.

Thanks for the mention! So many good reading leads in here...
You're more than welcome! I really want to dive into your world at some point, learn all about it :D
