Manos
Manos is a Primal God, he who hides in the mother darkness and casts out transgressors into the great burning light. Originating from the great darkness of the Earth after The Crucifixion, Manos feeds off of those who are apart of his Cult, slowly spreading his reach through the realms simply to spread it's sin.
Divine Domains
Manos hides in the darkness of the woods, between where all can be seen. Manos operates from this darkness, reaching out via his followers to make his influence known. In this darkness, there is only Manos, nothing more and nothing less. An endless expanse of chaos and entropy where he waits, dragging those whom it deems antagonistic towards it into this darkness and punishing them with death by exposing it to the burning light outside of it's domain.
Artifacts
Over the ages, over the centuries, Manos has had many artifacts and tributes created in honor of his immense power. From statues depicting his form to large hand-shaped sculptures that bear a massive hole in the midst of their palms, these artifacts can be found everywhere in the realms, with particular note going to the "Effigy Of His Hands" found on Silver Mt. Zion.
Speculation has arisen over the connection between Manos and the Hand Of Yggdrasil, as the function and appearance of it is said to be similar to that of how Manos' hands are often depicted. Of course, to acknowledge this connection would require one to acknowledge the one between him and Yeshua Bar Yosef.
In relevance to this connection, however, is the fact that the Spear Of Longinus is heavily associated with Manos. Artwork of Manos in this regard typically revolves around him coming out of where Yeshua was stabbed, either in the form of a puddle of blood or of an inky, black darkness with fingers outstretched.
Holidays
April 3rd of every year is seen as the most important day of worship to Manos-- Known internally as Crucifixion Day. On this day, all of the followers of Manos' will will gather around a massive pyre where a sacrifice is given to Manos. The pyre-- which is composed of wood and held together with twine and metal, has a large cross on it. The sacrifice is mounted onto the cross, nails being driven into their hands and feet in a twisted imitation of Yeshua's murder on the cross. The pyre is then set alight, burning the sacrifice in an agony that pleases Manos heavily. As the body burns, the rest of the cult will enter festivities and celebrating, most of them dancing and eating and fucking as behind them on the cross, a poor soul screams long after the fires stop.
Crucifixion Day is considered by many to be heresy against Yeshua and most other abrahamic religions, yet to those inside of the cult? It's regarded as the greatest tribute of all, not just to Manos, but to Yeshua.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Manos is a Primal God that thrives off of suffering, dragging the unfortunate and the transgressors into his unholy darkness to make them suffer for eternity. To accomplish this, Manos has entrusted one will into instigating the spread of his cult of worship: The Master. Once a mere thought on the back of a daydreamer; The Master was given a host in the form of a mere mortal, of whom was transformed into an immortal entity, one whose consciousness and soul is eternally linked to an arm.
Manos ultimately desires to spread his presence across all the realms so that he may feast on their suffering, a fate that he has already brought upon certain other realms that have long since been lost to the ages, those that have snapped off of Yggdrasil. To keep The Master compliant, Manos allows it immense power and strength to act out whatever it wishes; giving it as many wives as it wants for it to mate with; all of whom become heavily devoted to The Master. The Master, gleefully, acts out the role it has been given by it's god, after all, it is but a mere servant.
Of those that are eternally bound to Manos, The Master has enslaved Torgo, making him a maintainer of The Lodge and enforcer of Manos' will, regularly subjecting him to horrific nightmares of his death to ensure he does not step out of line.

Personal history
Once, there was darkness. A darkness heralded by The Nightmare King and birthed from The Void, but a darkness nonetheless extravagant and massive. It waited as pure entropy, hiding between the cracks and folds of reality, unable to see, hear, or feel. All it could do was speak and smell, atleast initially. It waited, and waited, and waited, knowing nothing but this darkness.
And then, it heard the cries of a holy figure.
It, along with the rest of this Darkness, ever-dormant since the 10,000 Days, would be attracted to this figure's demise, and bare witness to the pain. This man was Yeshua Bar Yosef, known more commonly as Jesus Christ. This darkness would witness such a disgrace, the death of the holiest of men as part of some greater scheme.
This darkness would feel for the first time. And thus, on the day of Crucifixion, Primal Gods would flood into the realms. One darkness was as such: It drew fascination from the state of Yeshua's hands on the cross, and with a mere thought, it was known as Manos. This darkness spread across the realms, controlled by instinct and hunger, with Manos in particular remaining on Earth to feed.
It found a soul that bore witness to the death of Yeshua; and in the ensuring chaos of eclipses and wrath, Manos would make itself known to this soul. It was not a soul like any other, for it was born from a daydream, born from a fever on the back of a mind. It would torment and twist this soul, eventaully empowering it and forcing it to worship Manos as a new god. This soul would become known as The Master, immortal and living on through his arm; given to a new host every eon, every age where the host body expires. The amount of hosts that The Master has lived on through is unknown, but is estimated to be in the hundreds.
It is through The Master that Manos' will be done, spreading it's influence for eons from The Lodge in El Paso, Texas. Despite authorities at the time trying to investigate or shut down the cult, there has been no luck, no success, no victory, as any who go into the region where The Lodge is often disappear for a long time; only being found months or even years in advance. The Lodge is in a extra-dimensional distortion of space, all controlled by Manos, all ensuring that no one can leave.
Reign
Manos' reign as of present is localized mostly within the The Void and it's great, black expanse of darkness, with his hands reaching through into the other realms; most notably Earth. His subjects all are beneath him in these regions, especially those residing in The Lodge. Within this Lodge, Manos' rule is above all, Manos' rule is eternal, and those who reside in it know his true strength and power.

I think I remember the two articles you talked about in your author's note. I believe I found them scary. This article is scarier. I'm glad that you took something that was laughable and made it dark. :D
