Summercamp 2025

BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY is back with Summercamp 2025! Whereas last time BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY focused on making a lot of articles that are sweet and decently made, this year BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY will create articles to focus on quality over quantity. To do this, BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY will focus on a goal to at least write 8 articles to achieve Copper. At most, BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY will make 16 articles.

BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY has been working nonstop since the beginning of the year on improving various old articles and bringing them up to date with new lore and ideas, as well as integrating new inspirations into said articles. One such major inspiration for BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY right now has been the show Twin Peaks:

And as such, this will pave the way for a brand new bunch of ideas and themes explored through the upcoming articles. BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY also recommends people to watch Twin Peaks as well, as the inspiration and ideas behind it are wonderful. Infact, for the time leading up to and during Summercamp, BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY is going to watch other films by the same director, David Lynch, for further inspiration. This includes also watching Twin Peaks: The Return. The style and ideas and mood, the horror and comedy simutaniously, constantly on display throughout David Lynch's work has heavily inspired BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY and as such, it'll be time to make good use of these inspirations as well as others on display on the right.

I would be amiss if BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY did not mention the inspiration they felt reading their fellow Anvilite's works (which you can see on the right side as well)! Seeing fellow world-builders create such fascinating and interesting locales and sights have filled BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY with a sense of wonder that they wish to share with everyone! Of particular note, though, is the inspiration felt with Mochi's Stickerbook, of which is fueling BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY with ideas for a similar type of thing for Withered Worlds... Perhaps we'll see the fruits of this as Summercamp comes along?

It's wild to think that after all this time, Withered Worlds has become what it is. Beforehand, it was once a messy world known as OmniVerse, which had no proper cohesion or idea on what it should've been. BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY could not accept that, and as such, it had to be reworked. It became something much more grand with a specific style and idea behind it, as well as actual work being put into making sure the lore and atmosphere stuck together wonderfully.

What shall come from these roots? It cannot be certainly said. Only that it will lead to much grander, stranger things. There will be a focus on how people survive, where they get their resources and how much they have to struggle to obtain them. There will be a focus on the old history of the world, perhaps, as well as how the realms have adapted from these olden, darker days. There will be people evolving and changing, becoming something different, whether it's good or bad. There will be looks into the future and the past and people fighting to save the present. With all of this, BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY hopes to create something wonderful and surreal for all to be able to enjoy.
