Mage's Guild

Sorcerers, Warlocks, and other types of magic users who don't dwell in Fásach Draíocht are usually members of the Mage's Guild.

Structure

Like the Artisan's Guild, the Mage's Guild focuses around the apprentice, journeyman, master system and their way of advancement is similar as well, though instead of solely being determined by the works one has created it is instead based on the arcane research and magical knowledge.

Public Agenda

At first the Mage's Guild is almost indistinguishable from the members of Coláistí Draíochta, or the Magical Schools, but if one pays enough attention they'll notice that their arts aren't entirely based in the Arcane like those from Fásach Draíocht are and instead focus on fusing magic with the other Na'Conairí.

Assets

While the majority of physical assets are made by the Artisan's Guild and focused within the Merchant's Guild the Mage's Guild is the home of the more magical items.

Demography and Population

Mostly consisting of Draíocht and Sinnsear the rare Aireagóir is also present with Soturi Ihmisiä being almost unheard of. Like the Artisan's Guild the Mage's Guild is almost entirely based in An'Croílár but they do have a few embassies within Ríocht na'Draíocht.

Territories

The Mage's Guild of Na'Conairí own many ivory towers dotted across the continent, as well as an embassy within the capital of Ríocht na'Draíocht, but little else.

Military

Unlike the Artisan's Guild who defend themselves with traps, toxins, and puppets the Mage's Guild has substantial military might... they just have little experience in using it in a violent means. Those with proper training, usually those who also belong to the Mercenary Guild, are a force not to be reckoned with.

Technological Level

Under cooperation with the Artisan's Guild they're the co-creators of Magitech as well as the creators of technomancy and psionics and other magic-based fusions created by Cosán Na'Comhleá. Though they're not as responsible for the infrastructure of An'Croílár as much as the Artisans are, they've played an undeniable role in the creation and dominance of Na'Comhrialtas.

Foreign Relations

Almost entirely locked within their ivory towers, the Mage's Guild has little relation to anyone who isn't a member. The sole exceptions to this are the Artisan's Guild who they occasionally work together with, the Merchant's Guild who sell their products, and Ríocht na'Draíocht which rules the home of magic within Ihmisen Keh'to.

Trade & Transport

Like the Artisan's Guild, the Mages Guild will trade amidst themselves and their contacts but rely on the Merchant's Guild for most of their business.

Education

The Mage's Guild rival even Coláistí Draíochta in their study of magic, but rather than focusing on the traditional schools also teach the spiritual traditions of Sraitheanna na'Léaráide and dabble in the sciences of Aontas na'Aireagáin.
