Fásach Draíocht: The Enchanted Forest

A vast wilderness dominated by trees similar to the Northern Lands, but instead of a thick primordial jungle it is instead primarily needled redwoods and softwood towering into the sky while low hanging mist moves through the underbrush. In fact, these forests are just as dangerous as the jungles belonging to the Northern Tribe as the mist seems to glint with arcane energy, an energy that has mutated the beasts here to become magical in nature instead of just ferocious and large, sometimes the trees themselves even show their sentience. The magical empire of the east is renowned for their sorcerers, mastering the magical arts through years of study in the eight arcane schools of Abjuration which focus on protection and warding, Conjuration which focus on summoning creatures and materials, Divination which focus on revealing that which remains hidden, Enchantment which enhances or dominates the subject, Evocation which manipulate energy to create something from nothing, Illusion which alters perception, Necromancy which manipulate the forces of life and death, and Transmutation which alters and transforms the target. Of course there are also spells which cannot be categorized by any of these schools and are termed as Universal spells, and are available to all sorcerer's regardless of specialization. If the warrior's in the north are wise druids than the sorcerers are eccentric scholars regarding the unraveling of the arcane mysteries as the highest goal.

Geography

Most of Tailte Draiochta is a softwoods needle forest which becomes a redwood forest which gets progressively thicker, and more dangerous, the more towards the center of the east you get. The northern river which separates them from the Northern Lands makes way to mangrove swamps and the heaven piercing mountains on the far east which separate their part of Ihmisen Keh'to from the rest of Maailma echo with powerful bestial roars. Due to the danger here, most human civilization can be found in the coastal regions near the Capital or along the southern river bordering the Southern Lands.

Fauna & Flora

The wildlife within the Imperial East has been warped, mutated by the magical energies here. Plants can often be carnivorous, hunting human and magical beast alike, and that grove over there is just as likely to be a collection of Treants. As deadly as the plant life can be the myriad magical beasts are often far more dangerous, from viscous Chimera prowling the forests to unnerving skeletons in the dark reaches of the empire to the winged horrors of Wyverns in the mountains only the most powerful, or crazy, hermits can venture far into the wilderness for long.

Natural Resources

Similar to the Northern Lands, Tailte Draiochta has vast swaths of natural resources left mostly untouched due to the dangers which lurk within the forests. The biggest difference between the Imperial East and the other four nations is that everything within its lands is touched by magic; the hide of a Wyvern can be as tough as any steel, the blood of a Chimera is a powerful arcane catalyst, even the trees make great conductors of magical energy.
