Paradise City
Paradise City is one of the districts that ranges from the poorest to the richest individuals in the city. Founded around the 1980’s and 1990’s rocker and punk aesthetic, Paradise City feels urban and edgy. From run down apartments where teenage rebels dwell to Rolling Stones tower where some of the elite performers of the city live, Paradise City lives around the beat of drums and rhythm of guitars and the motto that living fast is better than dying old. Historic recordings of bands like The Clash, Van Halen, Rolling Stones, Drop Kick Murphies, Guns and Roses, and other bands form the core aesthetic of the area.
Magic users in this area often use music, music devices (such as instruments and Walkmans), found items, graffiti art, etc. Punk and rock aesthetic are favored with emblems and rules painted on leather jackets, worked into metal jewelry, and so forth.
Defences
None - though trouble is remarkably scarce in this neighborhood. Rockers tend to be protective of their own and aren’t shy about defending themselves.
Infrastructure
Most of Paradise City is divided into standard Olympian apartments, though time and rough living have made them, as a general rule, a bit more ramshackle here than in more well-to-do portions of the city. Electricity usually works and all but the poorest apartments have indoor plumbing. A small section of this borough is decidedly slums - usually housing wilds refugees or those down on their luck who needed a relatively safe place to crash.
On the other end of the spectrum, the center feature of the neighborhood is Rolling Stones Towers where several of Olympia’s elite celebrities and musicians live. This upscale apartment building has its own amenities and is well away from the poorest blocks in the borough
Guilds and Factions
The Girl Band
A large gang of women, this group fiercely defends one of the poorest territories in the borough. Despite the somewhat poppy origin of their name, they are often brutal fighters who are bent on protecting their territory from interlopers and anyone who would hurt the residents of the area. Ages for the group range from young teenagers to old rock matriarchs and they often tag their area with pink spray painted sigils.
The Devil’s Road
Very little is known about the members of this faction save that they are one of the primary sources of illicit drugs and crime in the borough. Secretive and careful, they are less organised than a true underworld unit but someone always seems to know someone who knows someone if you’re looking for a good time.
Heaven’s Devils
A play off the old world Hell’s Angels, this group of road warriors is largely based in Paradise City though they do often rove elsewhere. Insular and protective of their own, their allegiance is to whatever they happen to swear purpose to at any given time. They’re known as runners of illicit goods and generally considered criminals.
History
Paradise City formed organically over time as the city grew. Rockers and punks are often used to being outcasts of sorts and they naturally gravitated toward those who shared common interests in old world music. While the boundaries of the neighborhood are now relatively well defined, that has taken decades and is notably due to the presence of the Paradise City gangs declaring spaces for their own members.

Pinky’s Records
THE source for recordings of old world rock and punk music. Pinky’s has a thriving business of trading songs, albums, and debuting newly found musical records dug up by the Ark Runners. There’s even a few actual records on the wall - though most of the files are disc and cassette based.
