Kingdom of the Cin
The Election of the Emperor:
The system for the election of a new monarch is a process called “Doric” or “Duhoerich.”
Doric is a complex system that determines the selection of the king or queen among the Cin. It is designed to ensure a fair and just process in choosing a ruler. The process starts immediately after the coronation of a new monarch and continues throughout their reign.
- Selection Committee: A committee is formed comprising influential members of the Cin society, including respected elders, religious figures, scholars, and representatives from different Cin cultural groups. The committee is responsible for overseeing the selection process and ensuring its integrity.
- Nomination: At a predetermined time before the end of a ruler's reign, individuals from within the Cin community are allowed to submit nominations for the next ruler. These nominations can come from any Cin individual who meets certain qualifications, such as age, experience, and moral character.
- Qualification Evaluation: The selection committee carefully evaluates each nominee's qualifications, examining their leadership abilities, understanding of Cin traditions, and commitment to the well-being of the community. This evaluation may involve interviews, assessments, and testimonials from community members who have interacted with the nominees.
- Voting Process: After the qualification evaluation, a voting process takes place. The Cin community is given the opportunity to cast their votes for the nominees they believe would make the best ruler. This voting process may involve secret ballots or open discussions, depending on the preferences and customs of the Cin society.
- Deliberation and Consultation: The selection committee reviews the results of the voting process and engages in deliberations and consultations with community members. They consider the votes, feedback, and opinions expressed during this phase to gain a comprehensive understanding of the candidates' suitability for the role.
- Final Decision: After careful consideration and analysis, the selection committee makes a final decision regarding the next ruler. This decision is based on a combination of factors, including the popular vote, the committee's expertise, and the best interests of the Cin community as a whole.
- Coronation and Acceptance: Once the selection committee announces the chosen candidate, a formal coronation ceremony takes place to inaugurate the new king or queen. The chosen ruler accepts the responsibility and duties of leadership, pledging to govern with wisdom, fairness, and devotion to the Cin community and its traditions.
History
Around the end of the Recheepan Rediscovery of Agriculture the Cin city of eSae-Lsey, aling the eSi-Lsey, rose to prominence under the king Ckrodsh, for he founded the system of Doric. This led his citizens to love him and led to a boom in power of the city. He kept law and order, as well as improved the standards of living in his city. He opened the first schools and the beginnings of libraries. As well he founded the first hospital. As his popularity grew, many from other cities wished to become part of his city. Others wished to be liberated from a cruel ruler. He annexed the cities that wished to join, and thus crowned himself the "King of the Cin." Using this new title, he went and conquered the states that had cruel rulers, and wished to join. He only ever conquered/annexed cities that wanted him to come and help them. This led him to control most of the Cin world, and gained a new legitimacy over his new territories. When he died, every city had at least one hospital, one library, and one school. His successor then sent The Cin Expedition. The Kingdom thrived until suddenly the Orks attacked. They destroyed the west and were spreading towards the east quickly, ravaging everything in their path, and spreading The Rot. The Recheepans quickly set up defenses against them and remained one of the only nations that survived the Invasion of the Rot.
Demography and Population
Most people living within the Kingdom of the Cin are the Cin, an ancient group of Recheepa, the oldest of their kind. They lived in the region since before the Forgotten War, and their traditions date back to both the Forgotten Age and the Age of Evolution.
They have minorities of Wah , Recheepans living in and around the Island of Dug (Duheguh), Qugvic, an Orkish culture mostly known for their nomadic lifestyle and being against the Gôr Empire, The Easterlings, a group of Humans who fled east during the Invasion of the Rot, and Faunus, peoples who are part man, elf, or dwarf, and part animal.
Territories
They hold all territory that the Cin populate, and they partially control the nations to the east of them, the Recheepan States. This land is the ancestral lands of all people in Namiend, but only the Recheepa returned to it, and have made it their lands.
Religion
They pay an individual to clean the holy sites and tend to the fire within them, for they believe that fire is the way to communicate with the gods.
This person does not have any religious power, but they are seen with respect by all Recheepans, and even by many outside of the Eastern lands.
Laws
Written Laws:
Community council law Each settlement within the Cin Kingdom establishes a Community Council composed of elders, scholars, and representatives. These councils are responsible for local governance, dispute resolution, and upholding cultural traditions.
Education for all law mandates that every Cin individual has access to education and skill development. It encourages a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and personal growth. This law came from the Tőyōtkan Empire
Ceremonial protection law safeguards the integrity of both Cin and minority cultural and religious practices. It prohibits any actions that disrespect or misrepresent their rituals, ceremonies, and symbols.
Ancestral heritage law mandates the preservation of ancestral sites, monuments, and artifacts. It ensures that the history and cultural heritage of the Cin Kingdom are protected and shared with future generations.
The freedom of the Easterlings law grants the Easterlings the freedom to control the territories where they are the majority freely from the rest of the empire. They are allowed to follow their cultural traditions and worship their goddess, Valthan. There are stipulations to their freedoms, as they must still adhere to the Cin laws and ways of governance, such as the Doric and committee life. However, this law makes it so that any future Cin ruler will never attempt to get rid of the Easterlings.
The Easterlings lands law keeps the Easterlings from expanding into all parts of the Empire. They are granted certain lands of which they can have a large population, yet they have heavy restrictions on living outside of those lands (in the kingdom at least.) This is to keep the integrity of the Cin lands and traditions safe, while also allowing the Easterlings to live and grow.
Unwritten Laws:
Nature's rights law recognizes the inherent rights of animals, plants, and ecosystems. It prohibits the exploitation or harm of any living creature without valid reasons, promoting coexistence and respect for all forms of life.
Trade & Transport
They barely use roads, with only a few important ones between major trading ports and cities. The Cin have a very well developed river system, having thousands of large and natural rivers going throughout the whole of the eastern world, where the Cin Kingdom is. They have also built hundreds of canals to connect these already large rivers. This extensive water network serves as a primary mode of transportation, facilitating the movement of goods between major trading ports and cities.
They do have a caravan system in the northwest however, as there are few rivers in that region, yet a large portion of the Cin's military is stationed up there due to The Rot. This caravan system has set up many caravanserais set up around the northwestern Exech Erfset.
Education
Education is taken very seriously by the Kingdom of the Cin, as it has a long history of such. Having scholars come from all over to teach their young is one of their main expenses. The education system in the Kingdom of the Cin is governed by the community councils, each city within the empire establishes a local council which holds all responsibility for education. The historical legacy of King Ckrodsh, the one who had founded the first schools and libraries, is considered the most important individual in Cin history, and thus his dedication to education is continued in the psyche of modern Cin. There are laws that mandate education for all.
The language and Literature of the Recheepans throughout their history is a central subject, they teach both written and spoken forms of the language. Teaching ancient and modern literature like their traditional stories, poems, myths and legends, and historical narratives. This is also to teach the Cin culture, traditions, and heritage, and often they try to promote the significance of rituals and festivals.

Legislative Body
The Monarch can write laws, however they are not the only ones, and any law in which the monarch writes has to be passed through the other lawmakers, or the committees, or the Deick-ptes. (Duheich-pie'eteseh). These laws are passed through the a specific committee made up of those which the law directly affects. For example, if the monarch tries to pass a law around agriculture, it has to pass through the farmer's committee. If those farmers do not support the law, they can either reject it, or amend it. If they decide to amend it, they have to send it back to the monarch and get their consent on the law, and from there the monarch can either amend it, or accept it, however the passing of the law is entirely up to the committee. The committee can only amend a law five times before they have to accept or reject it.
Because the kingdom of the Cin is made up of such large territories, the regional committees have power to make their own laws for that specific region. This is so the monarch's laws can be more broad, for the whole state, whereas the regional ones can make things that adhere to their needs more. For example, a region that has more rivers and agriculture would benefit from laws regarding agriculture better than a region with less. This system often makes it so that the monarch rarely makes laws.
If a regional committee makes a law, and it could affect another group, the committee that represents that goris allowed the right to amend the bill, but only twice.
