The Rot
Transmission & Vectors
The Rot can transfer onto anyone as long as that person touches it, whether it be through water, food, blood, or mere contact. If the Rot chooses to attack you, and you touch it, you have the Rot.
Causes
The Abreth, in their prison, released a spore of Rot, which Ankan can communicate through, allowing him to corrupt your mind, when you inevitably accept Ankan's promise, Ankan will corrupt your body, and control you. From there he can decide whether to let the Rot take you, or take you for himself.
Treatment
The only treatment for the Rot is by not listening to Ankan's voice within your head and finding a cleric or wise one as soon as possible.
Affected Groups
Everybody is affected, the Rot's entire goal is to destroy everybody.
History
The Rot came from the Abreth, the evil gods of the Forgotten age. The goal of the Rot is to take over Namiend and release the evil gods from their prison. It came to an Ork by the name of Qirqox, a farmer. Ankan filled his head with tales of glory, power, and immortality. Qirqox went on to help the Rot spore grow, and as it grew, so did Qirqox's power and kingdom.
