Ruddy Rock Hills
The Ruddy Rock hills are located south west of the Splinters in Southern Midasfjall and are the starting point for one of the Potami River's tributaries. These hills get their name from the vast amounts of iron and copper ore that can be found within, which gives the stone of the hills a ruddy brown colouration. The Ruddy Rock Hills are inhabited by goblinoid tribes who did not wish to join King Gell when Kurdun was founded and as such can be a dangerous place for unprepared travellers.
Geography
The Ruddy Rock hills are not very tall comparatively speaking, and they do not have steep inclines. As a result of the winds which blow across the plains, the western sides of the hills tend to be bare and rocky whereas the eastern sides are covered in grasses and trees. To the north, the woodlands get more dense as the land flattens out and this phenomena is mirrored on the southern edge of the hills as well.
