Greatrock Range

Located in the central region of Southern Midasfjall the Greatrock Range is an expansive range of towering mountains and surrounding foothills. Greatrock range is home to the giant species who build their enormous mountain fortresses on the plateaus between the mountain peaks, as well as species of dinosaur who prefer the craggy environment, because of this not much is known about the specific layout of the mountains or even what metals and gemstones there may be within. The Greatrock Range sits high up on the land and as a result is the location of the headwaters for the two major rivers in Southern Midasfjall; the Potami River and the Hydra Head River. On the eastern side of the range lie the five lakes which flow east, eventually coming together before opening out into the ocean nearby Hushed Wave Gulf, this river and its tributaries are known as the Hydra Head River for its similarity to the creature and its five heads. On the western side of the Greatrock Range lies Greatrock Lake which feeds into the Potami River. To the north of the range is a smaller range divided by a steep mountain pass known as the Splinters, it is believed that the mountains of the Splinters were once part of the Greatrock Range but were separated somehow.
