    Battle of the Wasted Lands

    After the dwarves began settling on Sin Ar Isle other races were quick to follow. Many halflings travelled further east of there and settled on the Island that is now known as The Wasted Lands. With them, the gods followed and while the Holy Order of Druids had been accepting of the dwarves due to their political battle with the gods, they could not accept the gods gaining more followers and power, so they gathered their forces to expel the short-lived races.

    Resettling of the Wasted Lands

    After the battle between the Holy Order of Druids and the gods, no one wanted to live on the island where it took place. The island was infested with undeads so few even wanted to go near it. It was not until much later that some mortal adventurers began searching the battlefield for valuable artefacts.

    Rebellion of the Privateers
    Criminal Activity

    Although the Holy Order of Druids had spent a lot of money to keep the privateers, given that they could not themselves directly stop new settlements due to their treaty with the gods.   Despite this payment, it did not take long for some privateers to switch sides with the adventurers as they began seeing the possibility of more money from the loot they found. With another big discovery in 453 AoW, the last few privateers switched sides, leaving it all but impossible for the druids to control the trade.

    Deanna 'Devil's Charm' Hastings Conquers the Waters Around The Wasted Lands
    Military: War

    After the privateers stopped working for the Holy Order of Druids they peacefully transported goods to the island for only a few years before some of them got the idea to simply steal from those who had replaced their siege weapons with cargo space. This finally ended in 523 AoW with a few decisive battles.

    Creation of the Code of Conduct for Piracy
    Political event

    While the waters around The Wasted Lands had been relatively peaceful after Deanna 'Devil's Charm' Hastings took control, with her life fading from old age and the slow realization that she would not be around forever she set out to create code which future generations could follow so a legacy of peace might follow.

    Death of Deanna 'Devil's Charm' Hastings
    Life, Death

    With the death of Deanna 'Devil's Charm' Hastings, the captains of the pirate fleets were no longer under her charm. As such a rebellion against the rules quickly followed. Against this rebellion were the captains she had managed to convince before her death and although they managed to keep some order, this too eventually faded as they too grew old and lost their grasp over the waters.

    Li'sin Ar Intervenes
    Metaphysical / Paranormal event

    Although The Wasted Lands is its own island, it is not far from Li'sin Ar. The change from fruit and vegetables to fish and farm animals as a food source due to the difficulty in growing enough fruit and vegetables on the island and the pirates preventing shipments from arriving meant that Li'sin Ar would take action sooner or later.

    The Mercenary War

    With food rapidly diminishing due to Li'sin Ar's influence the adventurers on The Wasted Land became increasingly worried about the food situation. This eventually led them to act out and try to procure their own food. When the pirates blocked this, it quickly escalated.

    Peace Resumes
    Political event

    In the end, the skirmishes between the adventurers and pirates left The Wasted Land poor with nothing worth stealing and adventurers without the ability to search for new objects. This left the pirates without much to live off, so they tried to sue for peace with the adventurers' guild established by the adventurers on the island.

    Creation of the Trade Republic of Du'hra
    Political event

    Since the peace talks in 659 AoW the pirates and adventurers had been on relatively good terms, although small skirmishes would often happen when adventurers were hired to guard trade ships. This changed with the creation of the Trade Republic of Du'hra.
