Deanna 'Devil's Charm' Hastings
Deanna 'Devil's Charm' Hastings, so-called because of her ability to force others to obey her commands was the first to take control of the pirates around The Wasted Lands. Allegedly she was orphaned at a young age when her parents were killed in a battle between pirates off the coast of The Wasted Lands. To get revenge she joined the crew that had killed her parents and eventually rose to the top where she executed all the members that had been active when she lost her parents. She later would win over and subjugate all pirates in the area creating a period of relative peace for The Wasted Lands.
No one is quite sure what kind of magic she used to gain control of the other crews but many believe she only got it by stealing a scroll from adventurers who had found it in The Wasted Lands.
