Creation of the Code of Conduct for Piracy

While the waters around The Wasted Lands had been relatively peaceful after Deanna 'Devil's Charm' Hastings took control, with her life fading from old age and the slow realization that she would not be around forever she set out to create code which future generations could follow so a legacy of peace might follow.

One of the last acts of Deanna's rule over the pirates was to declare the code of conduct. Due to her magical charms, no one was able to object to them. Deanna however, knew her charms would not last beyond her death so she spent much time diplomatically dealing with different captains to get them to follow the rules after her death. This was a slow process and records state that it was draining for her as she was not used to dealing with people diplomatically as she had relied on her magical charms her whole life.   Unfortunately, no written record of the code survived but its effect was evident as the rebellion of Deanna's death is recorded as being very different from the battles of her youth.
