House Modūm (Mo - doom)
House Modūm has stood as a quiet yet essential family to High Durhum. Their agricultural prowess alone would give them enough political pressure to influence the houses greatly, but coupled with their arcane and academic might they truly have created a name for themselves. None of this, however, could prevent the loss of the territory that now belongs to the newest noble house, Hosue Padaam. This loss of territory and honnor stands as a mighty wound angainst the Noble House, and to this day they percieve themselves as playing catch-up. They hold a strong grudge against House Padaam and try to sabotage them at ever step.
Seneschal: Ansel Modūm has been the Seneschal of his noble house for the last 300 years, and is known as Ansel Half-Elven. Last of the elven line of lords of House Modūm, he leads with a steady hand, but his memory is long, and he too begrudges losing over half his kingdom's territory to an upstart with no noble blood and no respect for the years of backbreaking labor his people have put towards the good of the Great Houses Noble. Despite this, he has made more allies than enemies and holds a highly respected position in the council of the Seneschals.
Grand Castellan: Edwin Enstrom serves as Ansel's current Grand Castellan. He mostly works as a manager of the incredible amount of agricultural land House Modūm manages, and trained in agricultural magic at the Wizard's Academy in House D'reno. He is somewhat new but he knows his work, and leaves the politics to his Seneschal. Many find him prickly and somewhat offputting.
Lower Courts: The lower courts of House Modūm consist of the heads of old agrarian families, and the exporters who brought wealth into the kingdom by exporting the excess. They have a harmonious lower court that thrives on the stability that Ansel Half-Elven brings to his people.
