Kubechgo
Demographics
Kubechgo's population has strong familial roots in Meshian nobility, merchant classes and coastal trades. The city also hosts a minority population of scholars and travelers from neighboring states.
Government
The city is governed by the Prince/Princess Regent of Meshia, who oversees both state and municipal affairs. Kubechgo is divided into administrative zones, each managed by appointed stewards who answer directly to the Regent. The Citadel functions as the seat of governance and is also home to the national council chambers and military command.
Industry & Trade
Kubechgo's primary industries include textile manufacturing, luxury artisan goods (especially glass work and enchanted jewelry), and seafood processing. Shadow Gate has a black market economy tied to arcane relics and forbidden texts. The city trades heavily with Dovesport, Serna, and other nations via Lemosh shipping lanes.
Infrastructure
Kubechgo is exceptionally well-developed for a capital of its age. It boasts a fully integrated aqueduct and sewer system, arcane-crystal lighting grids, and a dual-port network that connects it to both land and water routes. Arcane infrastructure exists within the Citadel and Shadow Gate, while Noon Road serves as the hub for all commercial traffic.
Districts
Red Tower
Named after the prominent crimson tower that once dominated its skyline, this district is known for its historical significance and architectural marvels. It houses historical landmarks and museums that attract tourists and locals alike. It has survived wars, famines, and epidemics pretty much intact. One of the famous historical landmarks in the districts (that draws everyone from the Principality and the world to see at least once) is the ruined Crimson Tower and the marker monument that has been placed next to it.
The Docks
Situated along the waterfront of Lemosh, The Docks district is a bustling hub of maritime activity. Here, ships from nearby countries dock to unload cargo and passengers when there is no direct land route. This contributes to Meshia's vibrant trade and commerce.
Citadel
The Citadel stands as a symbol of strength and defense, overlooking the city from its elevated position. It houses the royal palace, government administration offices, and the headquarters of the Meshian military, ensuring the security and stability of the Principality.
Shadow Gate
I've done everything I could to keep them out, to keep them away from the Humans. And yet even I failed. The Gloombringers keep pushing in. They seem to be getting stronger. It is possible (very slim) that I misjudged them, their intelligence, their strengths. But look at them, skulking in the shadows, all in the infighting. They are to pitied.
Tucked against the Citadel lies the foreboding district known as Shadow Gate. Its narrow, winding streets are shrouded in perpetual twilight, cast by the buildings that lean precariously over the cobblestone streets, their facades adorned with eerie carvings and ominous symbols that seem to pulse with dark energy. Sinister whispers drift through the air like ethereal specters, while twisted alleyways coil like Zephyr Strikers. The air is heavy with the scent of incense and decay.
At the heart of Shadow Gate stands the eponymous gate itself, a massive structure wrought from blackened iron and adorned with sinister runes that glow with an otherworldly light. It is said that those who dare to pass through its threshold risk losing themselves to the shadows that dwell beyond. Despite its ominous reputation, Shadow Gate is not without its inhabitants. Gloombringers, thieves, and other agents of chaos call this district home, practicing their sinister rituals under the cover of darkness. The streets are prowled by shadowy figures clad in hooded cloaks, their eyes gleaming with an unholy light as they go about their nefarious business.
Is there a way from me to get rid of them once and for all?
For the brave—or the foolish—Shadow Gate offers untold opportunities for those willing to delve into its depths in search of power, knowledge, or forbidden treasures. But beware, for in the shadows lurk creatures of nightmare and madness, eager to ensnare unwary souls in their web of darkness.
Fairy Road
Fairy Road is a lively thoroughfare along the banks of Lemosh lined with colorful market stalls, artisan shops, and bustling taverns. It is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, where locals and visitors alike gather to shop, dine, and socialize.
Elmchapel
Nestled amidst lush greenery, Elmchapel is a serene district known for its tranquil parks, botanical gardens, and a Harmony Sanctuary. It serves as a peaceful retreat for residents seeking solace and spiritual reflection.
Noon Road
Noon Road is a commercial district bustling with activity, especially during the midday hours. It is lined with shops, restaurants, and cafes, offering a wide range of goods and services to cater to the needs of Meshian citizens.

Longtown stretches along the outskirts of Kubechgo, characterized by its spacious avenues, grand estates, and expansive gardens. It is home to Meshia's affluent elite, boasting luxurious residences and prestigious institutions.

Geography
Built along the eastern edge of Lake Lemosh, the city climbs from gentle wetlands up to jagged hills where the Citadel is built. Canals and arcane pump ystems keep low-lying areas from flooding. Across its borders are pockets of dense trees and mineral-rich soil used for construction and enchantment reagents.
Climate
Mild summers, wet springs, and long, windy autumns define Kubechgo's climate. Winter is brief but biting, with sudden lake-effect storms. The winds off Lemosh give the city its famous breeze, said to "sing" through the Red Tower ruins on certain nights.
